Completely unique community gem. Green house with a stream running through it, carp, terrapins and banana palms is like a mini, rather home spun Kew and totally unexpected. You never know what you will find here - sometimes not a lot going on but on other days you can buy beautiful home grown tomatoes, visit the chickens and resident duck, the budgies and if is open (and you dare!) have a peek at the creepy creatures in the education room. You might even catch a glimpse of Fudge the cat.
Come for the experience as it can be hit and miss if they have much stock for sale, however if you are lucky there could be plenty of choice and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Check out back for larger specimen plants that can be hard to find and prohibitively expensive elsewhere! Probably the best prices for large terracotta pots you will ever come across too.
It is a lovely, warm and friendly place to pop into with children and is an unofficial community hub passionately loved by local residents.

This place was a little jewel in the heart of the Wood Green community. Now it just is a ruin. It has been depredated. It is a wound in my heart. I have got so many memories, spent so much time there with my son when he he was little. Or at the cafe, with friends. It used to be run by volunteers with special needs, working there gave them purpose, and of course taught them some useful skills as well. The place was alive. Now is dead. Whoever looks after it, should be stopped and the council should seriously consider to take it back.

You don't imagine so beautiful place. The tropical garden is small but wonderful. You'll appreciate the properly knowledge of garden specialists that designed and maintain really tropical plants. Also tortoises and big golden fishes. At another area you'll see many veg and plant crops.

This is a real gem of a place tucked away in Haringey. A real community focused centre offering a range of activities and supporting the local community with food, growing produce and other opportunities. The site has a wonderful palm and cacti house which is delightful to walk around. The Sunday plant sale (11- 3) is another highlight where can you buy house and edible plants and enjoy delicious vegan dishes cooked on site by an experienced cook. Definitely worth a visit! Check out their website too.

Such an amazing naturist space, calming and peaceful. Very community spirited, everyone is so welcoming. You can learn so much from being in this gorgeous space.

A gorgeous little hidden gem you won't regret visiting. It's open to visitors every Sunday 11-3pm and they've got amazing vegan food served in the café and the palm house is open for anyone to explore. The space is also available for hire for events, kids parties, supper club nights... Definitely worth a visit; it's all run by volunteers and every penny spent here goes into maintaining the place.

It was really nice, got myself a personal tour, although I went the day that it snowed (it snowed in the evening nit during the day when i was actually there, but my point being) my toes froze, in fact my entire foot froze, not Wolves lane fault, I shoulda worn better socks. Consensus: I need to go back in spring
