Great site, bags of room, swim lake on site, cafe, play park. Toilet block is large, very clean and very well equipped. Staff all so welcoming and helpful.. recommend for a quiet spring weekend

Absolutely loved our stay. The location and setting is perfect. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Dotties is a dream, the food, ice cream and friendliness of the staff is a credit to Pillaton. The only downsides for us was the electric cards as you found yourself continuously checking to make sure you were ok for electricity, especially in caravans where if the electric just cuts out you end up with blown fuses. There are lots of caravan parks which charge the same price for fully serviced pitches. There are a lot of water taps on site but unfortunately they can not be used directly to the van. In saying this, we have rebooked and look forward to our next visit. I would recommend this site for anyone thinking of booking.

Amazing outdoor swimming experience! Great staff and very friendly site. Really easy to sign up, turn up & swim. Nothing was too much trouble and the grounds/water are perfect! A great way to relax and keep fit and healthy.

Beautiful open green space. Loads for the kids to do. Lovely restaurant and great shop at the entrance. The camping facilities are second to none! Absolutely amazing shower/toilet/laundry block, even has a large TV on the wall where you wash up and plenty of vending machines. Ticks all the boxes for a great campsite.

We have been coming here about 10 maybe 11 years? It's always clean, tidy and very relaxing. Was busier than I've ever seen it, but still, a friendly bunch with lots of new activities and good fishing too.

Superb facilities on site including a shower/toilet block and takeaway. Site is well kept and maintained. You feel like your miles away once you drive through the gate. Definitely will be returning here.

Lunch with Santa. Lovely decorations, elf was friendly. Santa is really friendly and great with the kids. Excellent idea to ask what children are into and interests before the event. Grandson was amazed and excited that Santa knew him and what he liked. Food ok.
