Doggetts Farm

Still a lovely spot fifty years on from when I used to peddle all the way over from Prittlewell to fish it as a kid. Fell in love with it then and still holds a special place now, although just for the occasional walk with the dogs . No dought RDC have ear-marked it to concreted over before long so make the most of it now.

Absolutely love this walk. It is a private road but a public footpath so naturally you can't drive there and park. A bit upsetting to see the people who live there have had to tape there gardens off due to the audacity of people walking into their gardens!! Please be aware of their privacy and please don't feed the horses! Some of them are quite poorly and even grass is a no no. Great track for running or biking.

Lovely for walking or running. Always stop at the duck pond.

We had a wonderful time on Sunday visiting the pod, My children loved seeing Santa and the alpacas in there paddock.
I would reccommend a visit.

Really lovely place for a walk! They have alpacas and ducks there! On a Sunday there is a pop up cafe from 10-4 which has some nice homemade cakes and various drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices!

Beautiful walk and the Alpacas are so gentle. Please remember that if you have a dog to keep it on a leash, these beautiful creatures have been attacked by dogs NOT kept on a leash

Really wish they had space to store caravan but have a waiting list unfortunately !!!!
