Ashcroft Farm and Campsite

Great campsite..plenty of space.. good facilities and in a beautiful setting
Only quibble would be the recycling arrangements...you have a bin for glass but not for anything else although bags are provided.. however the local wildlife doesn't find the bags much of a deterrent resulting in some rubbish being strewn about.
Would stay again

Small site. Generous pitches. Ultra dog friendly, no limit and no extra charge. Another large field to walk dogs in as well. Small services but immaculatly clean. No shop, but village nearby. We will be returning.

Lovely place. Very friendly owner. Basic facilities with small shower/ toilet block (1 shower/wash toilet rm, 1 toilet wash area) for Ladies. Same for men. Manages well. Defo recommend if you're looking for low key camp site. Close to N Cornwall - Bude 25 mins away.

We've had a lovely stay here. Peaceful with glorious views of the rolling Devon hills. The facilities are simple, but thoughtful and immaculate. Only 15 pitches, so never feels too busy!

There's a selection serve milk kiosk nearby that does amazing milkshakes, the fish & chips nearby is really nice and the little shop next door is incredibly well stocked.

Just had an amazing couple of days at Ashcroft Farm Campsite with our friends - we were in 2 large glamper vans which Vicky very kindly accommodated. The field is in the most idyllic spot with lovely views over the countryside. Fresh water and electricity are all available and there are excellent clean loos and a shower as well as an area for correct waste disposal. Vicky is charming, a dog lover and very welcoming host! Highly recommended and a great central spot to explore the countryside from there.

Peaceful campsite. Only about 15 plots. Dog friendly with huge dog walking field. Good facilities- washing machine, tumble dryer both pay per use but so handy to have. Plug sockets in the utility room if you need to charge your phone. Shower was just right temperature wise and decent pressure. Clean toilets, antibac spray and toilet cleaner provided in each bathroom so you can make sure it's clean yourself. Out in the middle of nowhere but we had owls and bats flying right over our heads in the evenings.

Lovely campsite. Really spaced out pitches. We only stayed one night but it was great.. very quiet and lots of open space. The owners were very helpful. Took our 6 metre by 2 metre motorhome there and followed directions on website from A39. Roads are single track but fine to get down. Easy to get to Clovelly from here.
