Wildwood Alpacas

We were fortunate enough to experience the Wildwood 'Glampaca' experience over the Easter bank holiday and I can honestly say it was one of the best things we've done. Only only was Sarah friendly but she also very knowledgeable on alpacas, you could really tell this was her passion. Definitely one to do with family, friends or significant others.
As well as glampacing we did an alpaca walk with Faster and Roo (the alpacas). Before the work, we were able to choose who we wanted to walk and learn a bit about the whole herd. On the walk, Sarah spoke more to us about the alpacas, their behaviours and sustainability. We were able to feed them and got some photos with them. One of the most lovely things about the experience was the emphasis Sarah placed on it being YOUR experience. The walk was private and the camping experience was only set out for one family.
The Galmpaca experience itself was out of this world. The Yurt was decked out to feel quite luxurious with throws and all. And there was everything you'd need in 'the mess' area: a great little gas stove, all things camping crockery, tea bags and even some playing cards. When the sun had gone down the camp looking like something out of a fairytale with lots of solar powered fairy lights. Throughout the evening and into the next morning the alpacas stayed in the field next to us and this felt really special. It was so lovely to wake up next to the alpacas. A truly amazing experience that I would do again and recommend very highly!

We had a wonderful time!! My partner didn't even know that Alpacas existed until we came here 😅 Stunning location and great to see the variety of other animals on site too. The timing of our visit was perfect because we got to see two adorable babies relaxing in the field! Fingers crossed your next new arrival will be a girl called Harriet and then I can come visit my Alpaca self hehe! Thank you again for such a chilled, informative and welcoming experience.

We had a great day walking the Alpacas, the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed meeting Marmalade the cat too, he likes to sleep on the Alpaca wool. We will definitely visit again soon.

Sarah kindly accepted to come to our wedding with these two amazing alpacas. They set up perfectly, knowing it was a suprise for the bride and the alpacas and handlers were very patient despite the long waiting times for the photoshoots.

The guest also adored them and would highly recommend for any future weddings. The alpacas were friendly with guest and children, they also managed on the hot summers day.

Amazing experience would highly recommend! Sarah was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. Really liked that the session was just our small group. I did not stop smiling the entire experience. Felt very relaxed and not rushed at all and came away with more knowledge on these wonderful animals and some lovely photographs and memories. We loved every second.

We were greeted by Sarah who firstly showed us the wool that comes from the Alpacas. We then went to see the baby Alpacas this was followed by Walking some Alpacas. I had Markel and my son had Erroll. The walk was thoroughly enjoyable and my son is already asking to go back again. Absolutely recommend it. Lovely place.

Such good Fun !! Really informative, light hearted experience with these Gorgeous Alpacas !! Sarah is just the BEST hostess - There were Four of us- Two 50 somethings and two 17yr olds - and we all LOVED IT!! I'd highly recommend a visit !! 😃🦙😃

I visited Wildwood Alpacas today with my partner and we had such a lovely time. We felt so welcomed and were able to feed and walk the alpacas which was a wonderful experience. I would 100% recommend this experience and we will definitely be back!
