Woodshill Byres Holiday Cottages

This is the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. It is charming, quiet, spacious, and resides on a working farm in the country side just outside London, not far from the coast. It is ideally situated, a 5 minute drive from a small village that has a great pub and very old church. There are foot paths that meander thru the woods and vineyards. The cottages themselves are restored feed barns from hundreds of years ago, finished off with the best craftsmanship. This place is not to be missed, check it out out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

It is a very peaceful, orderly and pleasant place to be in these cottages. There is a working farm right next to the cottages so do expect loud cows. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining area. There are guides on what to do around West Sussex and there are numerous footpaths round the area too.

Very comfortable, simple and clean little cottage with all mod cons and everything you need for a break. Did feel the price was a bit high for what it is and you definitely need a car to get to things to do.

Lovely setting with a delightful host.

Lovely stay, but far too short. Val was very friendly and accomodating given our last minute change of plan. The Mouse House was perfect for the two of us. Clean, warm and well appointed.

Had a lovely weeks stay here while doing a course at the nearby Windsor Workshop. The cottage is beautiful! Full of character, well set up and very well equipped. Val the owner is friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again.
