A well kept site in a lovely location. The facilities are clean and practical. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We liked the farm animals and the riverside walks, and the little hut with tasty cakes and eggs and honey for sale. It was a great base for Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding area. We had a great holiday and hope to come back!

Great site . Stayed there in our motorhome. One toilet and one Shower with toilet. Wish they'd build a few more amenities as not everyone likes to shower in their Moho/caravan but we don't mind) Walk (saunter) into Stratford Upon Avon takes about 45 minutes

Lovely site and Karen is charming and very accommodating, will help with any problems you may have. Nice dog walks too. Overall a great campsite. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in our touring caravan here in the 'Fieldbarn site's, which was slightly further away from the road than the CL site. There are two toilets and a shower. There are also two rally fields so it can get busy during bank holidays. Monks barn is 2 miles out of Stratford upon Avon, which you can bike into on a pavement all the way. However it is a busy fast road so not advisable for small children.

Very nice caravan or motorhome site. Would highly recommend for a stay close to Stratford. Discount on 5 nights or more.

I booked to stay on the CL site for a weekend. I've given five stars since I would come back despite it being the most expensive CL I've come across. Check-in was friendly, helpful and efficient and the pitches well maintained. We chose pitch 4 and our EHU cable, at the club recommended 25 metre length, only just reached the cabinet and only because we'd pitched with the corner of our unit with the socket nearest. The proximity to a busy road is a small drawback though it was quieter during the night. There is an adjacent rally field from which music was blaring at the earlier part of the evening.
Showers are charged in addition to the per night fee but were hot and kept clean. Sadly though the cubicles suffer one of my pet hates: no hooks on which to hang your clothes or towel. A nice touch is the free-to-use washing machine in the facilities block alongside two WCs and one shower.
A little shed provides a cute little shop with honesty box. Lovely looking cakes, preserves and fresh eggs were available.
Our reason for booking this site was its proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon. It takes only 45 minutes to walk through the countryside and farm land into the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. Having stayed at two other walking distance campsites, I can categorically say this one is the best despite a few minor niggles.

We stayed here with friends on the CL site and could not fault it, Karen was very welcoming on arrival and gave us a run down on the area, there is also a small shed full of information for visiting the area, also a shed with home made cakes, eggs, jams etc.
The site was very well kept with a small but comfortable toilet and shower room with shower that cost 20p for 6 minutes so was ideal.
There are some lovely walks from the site including across fields to the village pub which made a nice stroll past the sheep etc.
All in all we had a superb weeks stay at Monks Barn and would certainly recommend the site.

Nice farm 2.5 miles from Stratford upon Avon on the A3400. They have a B&B but we stayed on the camping rally field and CAMC CL in our motorhome. Both sites have ehu's and there's an additional small campsite with hardstandings. Good facilities including a drive over waste drain, local produce hut, medieval function barn, good recycling, and fairly new clean toilet and shower room (takes 20p's) with a washing machine. Freindly helpful owner on the working farm with sheep and horses. You can walk into Stratford along the main road footpath, or catch a bus just down the road at Ailstone, or explore local footpaths and quaint villages and pubs. Only downside was a bit of road noise and poor freeview TV reception but that wouldn't put us off returning.
