We had a lovely week's stay here. Rob and Fiona were great with our three year old who can be quite shy and a little scared of animals, but by the end of the week he was happily riding the donkey and leading the sheep. He loved collecting eggs every morning and the play area.

While here we visited national Trust Dinefwr, the botanical Gardens and folly farm, all of which were great for young children.

Cottages were clean, comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely return.

I suppose you would review somewhere at the end of a stay....but, in this case, I'll make an exception. We are a family of 6, with 2 boys and 2 girls between the age of 8 and 12, then chuck in a couple of dogs for good measure!!
First, and probably most importantly, the accommodation. We are staying in the milk parlour. A lovely, 3 bed cottage that has everything you need and then some! Beautifully finished with everything you could possibly need.
Next, the hosts. They were all fab. Lucy and Ben run the show along with their fantastic 2 kids. We were given the full guided tour of the farm and the animals by their youngest lad. Complete with bunny handling and pig grooming!!
Alongside the animals, there's also the 47 acres of land to explore. The website really doesn't do it justice! There's a great children's play area. Sand pits and diggers for the little ones, then climbing frames, swings, a castle and football area for the older ones. There's insect and amphibian lovers dreams in the shape of multiple ponds, a magical wood and dragon flies the size of, well, Welsh dragons!
I'd love to give a lowdown of the area, however, in fairness, with so much to explore here, we haven't felt the need to get off and explore too much. We did get down to a lovely quiet beach at Penside. And, we did manage a decent meal at the local Cottage Inn. Where, upon our arrival back at the cottage, we were met with an amazing veg box courtesy of our fantastic hosts!
Ben and Lucy took this place on just over a year ago. I know it will be a huge success as it has so much to offer. Selfishly, this is a shame as I'd love it to be our secret getaway. As Arnie said, kind of....we will be back!!

Delightful accommodation in a good location to tour around Carmarthenshire & the Brecon Beacons. Friendly but non-intrusive hosts, spotlessly clean well-equipped Cottage on a farm. Have already recommended to family and friends and will be booking again for next year. Highly recommended!

Nice cottage and host, well located for Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire. Cottage was very clean and the Wifi worked well!
Easy to find using Google maps and clearly signposted off the road with plenty of parking space.

Lucy and Ben have created a wonderful atmosphere in all of the cottages and surrounding areas. Everything you need for a family holiday is available on site, whether you're looking to relax or be active. The farm had added bonuses of log fire area, pond dipping and opportunity to join on the feeding round of the animals. Having the luxury of the children playing freely but safely around the grounds as they interacted with farm animals was a great peace of mind and generated so many memories. As a group of 13 with 4 dogs, each one of us were catered for and most definitely will visit again 🙂

Cwmcrwth Farm is definitely a place we would love to visit again!!!!
The cottages were immaculate and provided us with everything we needed. We stayed as an extended family in all 3 cottages for the weekend and had the BEST time.
Lucy and Ben were lovely hosts, happy to chat to us about their plans for the farm, about their animals and facilities, and the children in our family absolutely loved joining in the animal feed on Saturday morning.
Seeing the kids running around the barn, the playground and the fields with freedom and safety was more than we could have imagined. The camp fire /site was a particular highlight for several of us .
The farm is in a lovely location, and a short drive from several places to go for days out.

The only bad thing about our visit is going home, and the children being sad that we aren't still there!!

Perfect accommodation in the Milking Parlour, modern, clean and thoughtfully and comprehensively equipped. Ideal for a family, with play areas, animals and safe grounds. Our five year old loved helping to collect the eggs, and then eating them for breakfast. She liked the fat pigs, goats, guinea pigs and bantams too. Ideally placed for enjoying a beautiful area. The owners,Lucy, Ben and family very helpful, friendly and kind, they really made us feel welcome. Loved the pond by our terrace and the stream. A beautiful place to stay, cosy and warm. We should all love to return.
