The Garden Trellis Company

I do not think I have ever written a review for a company, but I will now. I called the phone line to ask advice about garden panels and explained that I would like some help. The response was negative and very unhelpful. Having established what I needed, I asked for a price and told that "the prices are on the website"!!!!. This is trying to sell itself as high end but unfortunately they fell at the first post by delivering shocking customer service. Please take the rude lady off your phones!

A great service. Good selection of products. I made an initial mistake with the order via the company's website. The company were very helpful in putting things right. Nothing seems to much trouble for them, and dealt with in a very polite and friendly manner.
The company have kept me fully informed of the progress of my order, with regular emails.
Very impressed.

I never write reviews but felt it was important because I almost didn’t buy from here because of the 1 star reviews. In the end I checked trustpilot and noticed a lot more positive reviews and took the risk. In our experience they were brilliant, our fence panels arrived in perfect condition and the amount of communication regarding dispatch and delivery was amazing. Will definitely use them again when we need something for the garden!

Took 6 months to deliver our fence panels, and when they eventually arrived they were covered in mould. Plus they didn't email to say the delivery was due - a pile of mouldy fence panels just showed up on my doorstep one day out the blue. Contrary to the information in the reply below there was no email or text before the first delivery. After a second delivery had been arranged I received perfectly adequate notification. If only they had extended that courtesy before the previous delivery instead telling my 70 year old mother in law she had to carry a pile of 6ft fence panels through the house. The most disappointing thing about dealing with this company has been their refusal to apologise or admit any fault at all when it is undeniable that a) the order took 6 months to arrive (it's not true that the product was marked as pre-order by the way, it said "limited stock") b) the product arrived after 6 months wait with no notification whatsoever, the suggestion that the emails went to my junk folder is disingenuous given that the later emails and text message were all delivered c) the panels were covered in mould - see photographs. Whatever the cause of the mould, they should have been cleaned.

I would like to pass on my thanks to Paula and Jamie, for helping me with many many orders over the years. Garden trellis has the finest trellises on the market. The prestige RHS range isn't cheap but its definitely worth every penny.

I'm actually quite astounded that there is not a higher rating on google as I have never had a problem in the 3 years i have been using them..

Anyway. Props to GTC and Paula and Jamie specially for making things so easy and stress-free.

Absolutely disgraceful company, every time I have spoken with the manager (Julian) I have had the worst experiences. Extremely rude and verbally abusive. And on top of this have spoken with several members of his previous staff on numerous occasions who complained about his non existent duty of care to his staff and customers. A few employees I have been made aware of are now waiting on six weeks worth of wages that he is refusing to pay and has even explained he has no care if they seek legal advice. AVOID at all costs. Everyone deserves respect and this manager seems like a complete bully!
