Journey was smooth and quick. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Food on journey to Ireland wasn't the greatest, so decided to upgrade on journey back to the premium class. All you can eat snacks and drinks available, so much better. Would advise other people to do it too, as small cost is outweighed by benefits. Plenty of electrical sockets available, but most passengers are asleep by them. Get on early if possible.

Good service. Easy on easy off. We had a private cabin. It was well worth the couple extra dollars. Had a good lunch, the ribs were ok and so was the burger. Overall a good dependable way to get from Ireland to Wales.

If you are a pet owner do not believe the marketing about being pet friendly. The kennels are absolutely traumatising, outside on an extremely loud car deck with car alarms going off non stop and engine noise plus vibration. It was hell. Staff were helpful but would 10000% not recommend to pet owners.

If you are vegetarian don't expect to be able to eat a meal. The choices were roast potatoes, chips or rice.

Journey was smooth but staff interactions aren't always great. When boarding they expected vehicles to reverse on the ship but didn't understand drivers reluctance when there was a vehicle behind them.

The cinema room smells - I'm not sure many people would be able to sit through a film in it.

Felt the need to review to counter some of the more negative reviews - our experience was good. We didn't buy any food onboard and had stocked up with snacks beforehand. Hot meals did seem very expensive. But we did buy some drinks and they were fine. Getting onboard with the car was straightforward as was disembarking and staff were all friendly and helpful. We found some chairs and a table near a window and passed the time there. Lots of space and it didn't seem crowded.

We booked 2 club seats on the Bluestar One from Rosslare to Pembroke with Irish Ferries. It was an utter disappointment, as Club sits directly above the ship’s propulsion. It was noisy and shaky the entire trip. Club was not worth the extra costs. Save the money and sit up front where it is quite and comfortable with a forward looking view.

Loading vehicles onto the ferry seemed rather haphazard but we sailed on time.

Nightmare tonight Stena ferry cancelled from Fishguard so had to go to Pembroke to take the Irish ferry. Unfortunately Stena didn’t pass the full passenger list to Irish Ferries at Pembroke.
The staff at Pembroke couldn’t have been any more helpful than they were. Thank you to the ticket office, the check in staff for cars and policing staff. Well done Irish Ferries!
