This was an absolutely fantastic workshop week resulting in one of the best showcases I have been a part of, and it also got me an agent!!

Max and Sonnie worked with us on so many levels with the character work and helped us all to discover hidden parts of the characters we hadn't initially seen.

They created a hard working and very focused environment that meant all of the actors taking part felt safe, prepared to challenge themselves and their fellow actors without fear. The week was very intense and there was a lot of work to do, which was fantastic, and had everyone completely focused.

A brilliant team, and a company I will be returning to time and time again to continue my training.

Sonnie and Max are a total delight to work with. They have a great eye for casting and create a supportive, inspiring and fun atmosphere in which to play. They make gritty, contemporary theatre and film that asks the big questions. Whatever they’ve got going on book and book quick!

An absolutely fantastic workshop and exactly what I needed to get my acting muscle working hard again!

I did the week-long acting course with Grindstone, and it was such a valuable week to work on our skills. Sonnie and Max have an amazing talent for casting, and our showcase pieces were so well suited for everyone in the group. They create such a welcome and caring space with a lot of laughter, really recommend.

I shot a new showreel with Max early this year. I had worked with him before and couldn't fault his honest, constructive approach to directing.

We shot for the entire day until we were both happy with the footage, his commitment and direction was second to none making it not only a great showreel, but a great learning experience.

I would 100% recommend Grindstone to anybody looking to add to their showreel, or even create a whole new one from scratch.

Filmed a 2 scene show real with Grindstone. Max was amazing. The whole experience was fab from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Thanks guys
