Hotspot Fireplaces

Very Disappointed
My husband and I went into Hotspots in Cove at the end of October 2015 and spoke with a lovely lady about getting a quote for a new gas fire and marble surround. Two days later a gentleman from Hotspots came around and measured up and gave us some great advise on the best gas fire and surround to go with our decor etc. Since that day we have been very very disappointed with Hotspots. It took about a week for our quote to arrive, that's after chasing them up. The surround we had gone for, was not available in the size we needed. We popped back into the show room and got some more ideas. We emailed Brenda (Lady would did the quoting) to give her the details. That was in the middle of November and to this day 12th January 2016 we have not had our final quote that's over 10 weeks from our first visit to Hotspots. Also I have emailed Brenda many times to be told it will be done the following week!! Looks like Hotspot do not want our money which would of been about two and half thousand:(

Amazing company, wonderful people, we had a studio 2 fitted and it is fantastic, the quality of the product is outstanding, the whole process from purchasing to fitting was easy. The company fitted in around us as we are having other building work completed, the fitters were polite and fun to have in our home.
The value and the prices along with the service are without doubt the best in the area.
Thanks guys we love the fire and are enjoying cosy evenings, if you are thinking of getting a new fire don't look anywhere else use this company.

Got very lucky as usually a 3 week wait.

Very pleasant and polite but hopeless - it took 8 weeks and endless (very polite) chasing to get a quote to supply and install an off-the-shelf mantlepiece. When I finally gave up and went elsewhere I got three quotes in a week!

We have been unfortunate enough to have a fireplace installed by this company. One of the biggest mistakes on my side. Reason being (a) the huge delays we had in the beginning ( we end up having the whole room refurbished & and solid wood flooring finished before they came and installed the fireplace, and this translated into a big layer of dust all over); (b) When installed, the fireplace hearth had a few, rather large, spots on it, like it was wet. I have been told that in a few weeks it will just dry out and all good. Guess what? it did not, even after an year!. And last point (c): the poorest customer service I've seen!!! Tried to get in contact with them for a long time and had no reply to my emails

I wont do the same mistake for a few quid less!!!
