BFS Heating

I absolutely love our new gas Stovax fire. BFS were very helpful in helping me choose the fire. The men that came to install the fire were polite and also very helpful, re lighting the AGA and generally giving advise.

I have had a few questions about the fire since its installation and my emails have been answered promptly and positively.

I love sitting in front of the fire reading, its heaven.

I have every faith that I am now a valued customer and will be looked after in the future too.

Had a gas fire installed earlier this year (pre lock down), the installation guys were great and did a very good job and BFS were very quick to take our money. However since then I’ve tried on numerous occasions, including email, to get some after sales service regarding a problem with the chimney cowl and remote control. Each time I’ve rang it’s as if it’s the first time I’ve contacted them and they promise to call me right back but never do. I have since had to resolve my queries with the fire manufacturer myself. I would definitely not recommend this company based on their after sales service.

Lots of various fires, log burners to view in their show room. A knowledgeable lady to give advice in the shop.

Excellent experience all round. We are over the moon with our Jotul wood burner - made by vikings. The service we received from BFS was exceptional a great team. From sales through to installation 5 stars 👍

5 star for the staff trying their best to keep a really messy job clean.
5 star for the friendliness of the staff.
3 star for the communication after I’d paid the deposit.
2 stars for the time and delays. With no communication.
Overall I’m really pleased with all the work. It is of a very high standard. Just some issues which we sorted out via email let them down.

BFS (Heating) Ltd of Great Bentley, Essex fitted my new Chesney’s Beaumont 5 wood burning stove along with a Newmans Branscombe frame, black slate hearths and rustic brick
panels. This was a full installation from scratch and required a flue fitted, fireplace alterations and plastering etc. BFS were super from the outset, helping me with design and step by step stages of the fitting. The installation team were great too, clean, professional, polite and friendly. Their shop in Plough Road Centre , Great Bentley has lots of displays to help you choose and the shop staff are very friendly. A big shout out to Kate in the shop who has been superb in every aspect! 👏👏. I recommend you check out BFS (heating) Ltd if you’re looking to install/update your wood burner.

BFS originally fitted a stove in my parents house many years ago so I knew I wanted them to fit one for our new house! From meeting Kate at the showroom through to having the stove fitted this week I can honestly say they have not disappointed me! Everyone that has been to my house has been courteous and tidy, they have all done their best to make the whole process as painless as possible! I am very pleased with my new stove and look forward to many years of cosy fires!

I was going to use this business to install a fire, but reading the reviews changed my mind. They seem to have an excuse for their appalling service every time blaming everyone else apart from themselves. You would be better avoiding the business to save yourself a headache and money.
