Angies Fish & Chips

Called In here while working away in the area. From Yorkshire so love my Fish n Chips, although I didn't order chips the ones I saw being served looked excellent, as was the fish I received. Cooked to perfection and the batter was lovely too, I ordered some chicken wings too and these were as stated " spicey".
Reasonably priced and worth a visit if you're in the area. Struggled to see who was Angie but she's doing a good Job

SHOCKING SERVICE!! Chips had a large dark hair in them. Upon calling was told they wouldn't rectify the issue caused entirely by their lack of attention when preparing our food. So no replacement hair free chips were sent out and no good will, absolutely NOTHING! I would strongly avoid angies if you would like to eat food which is prepared to the right hygienic standard. The other thing was for £2.20 the small portion of chips were a joke! The chips portion size was that of a half sheet of a4 paper. You couldn't even feed a child with the size of their small chips. See pictures attached for how small a small chips is and the hair that we found. We normally collect but with lockdown we decided to order and this is what we get!!

We are a young family of 4 and always get 2 large fish and chips. We were just in last week for a pick up (10 minutes ready within order). As always, it was delicious, and consistently flavoured to our liking. The woman who often takes our order is efficient, polite and never gets it wrong. Angies is a life saver for a busy family who never have dinner planned!

Fantastic Chippy & more does lots of Different stuff all tastes great! Best chips in Loughborough for me and many others, has won local awards for Best chip's. Highly recommended 💯

Got a takeout for 2pcs chicken and chips and experiencing extreme sickness,I claim its food poisoning. A regular customer here and someone who I know claims that if chicken falls on the floor they pick it back up and sneeze on it🤢.Never checked the lowest reviews as I have seen one with dark hair on it although because we are regulars we dont normally check our food.Never going to order from here ever again as it is not the first time someone I know has had food poisoning excluding myself,very risky,been 3 days and still sick,horrible chicken,never again🤮.

Best Chippy In Loughborough. Chips always great, chicken wings on a different planet and spuds are to die for!

"Large" cod & chips. Called the shop to collect the order back and was told it was a "supply issue". I don't doubt it was.

It was a a failure to supply a large cod & chips. This cost £16
