Seniors Cherry Tree

Some of the best food I've had from a chippy, it's also good if you want a delivered as it's quick especially by a drive called John, the staff are nice and are happy to have a conversation which is rare for a fish and chip takeaway

Usually order from Lytham always great. Ordered from cherrytree road tonight extremely disappointing. Chips were undercooked & soggy. The fish was over cooked & rubbery. We ordered peas which were watery & tasteless and the curry sauce was the consistency of water with 1 sultana in it. Half of our order was missing, by the time we returned again to collect it and got home the food was cold. The whole meal was dreadful and has gone in the bin. Staff out on the front of the shop smoking where you have to pass by doesn’t fill you with confidence either. All in all a dire experience and a waste of £30. We won’t return.

Ordered tea 2 hours ago, online stated 60 mins wait, rang after an 1hr and 10 mins passed rang to check where it was and was told it would be with us in 15-20 mins, rang again 25mins later, to be told it was out for delivery..... we are still waiting.

used the seniors delivery loads of times, faultless... the food always fresh piping hot and delivered well within the hour stated... some bargains, very well priced,,,, the 4 sausage deal with 2 large chips and 4 sides for £10 is an ideal meal on the go and on a budget highly recommended....

Visited at lunchtime approx 12:30.

I got the feeling that they were short staffed as one girl was serving and cooking the food, there were another couple of people in the store but it seemed that they were dealing with deliveries.

Overall the food was good, hot and tasty but the experience was spoilt by the problems below.

The girl serving was not wearing a hairnet or hat and I found a hair in my chips.

On returning to the office, we found out that two portions of chips were missing. We telephoned them and they delivered the missing chips, but the fish and sausage had gone cold by the time the chips arrived.

Will definitely NOT be using Seniors again. Both me & my husband got Fish & Chips, a few months ago, the girl serving was wearing blue gloves then decided to touch her face, didn’t put a fresh pair of gloves on, hygiene standards very poor. Then we both had food poisoning. Very poor.

Buy from here all the time my partner orders it. Cherry tree road store Last night yet again main missing from our meal. Spent £34 the peas weren’t even mushed up they were marrow fat peas. And to top it all of every single one of us this morning has food poisoning. Highly disappointed and won’t be ever ordering from here again.
