Have been coming here for best part of 4 yrs. Have tried other places, but end up coming back. The only reason I dropped 1 star is because the chips can be a bit hit & miss at times. This is especially so when they're not very busy, the chips don't appear to be fresh and taste like they've been re-cooked as they're rather dry and darker than usual. Other than that, I've not had any problems. The chicken burger is one of my favourites, it fills the bun and the salad is nice and fresh. The cod sizes are good and always nicely cooked. The prices are pretty average for the area.

Fish and chips was fine, but I refuse to pay £18.50 for two fish and chips. I know it’s not there fault prices are rising, but it’s prcef me out of the market. Virtually get a Chinese or Indian for that. Last fish and chips I’m afraid

While the price of fish is on the increase I can't fault the quality from here. Bought Haddock and Cod any both very enjoyable from our regular fish n chip shop.

The food is fresh and hot, and so much better and better value than reg's from around the corner.
There is always a queue out of the door, so you know that the food is that good.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had from here, 1 piece fish was cold the other hot, the chips were barely warm, some were burnt and looked like they’d been there since lunch time

Best fish & chips I’ve ever eaten. The large cod is huge and beautifully cooked. The staff are very friendly too.
