Elsenham Fish Bar

I popped in to get some simple haddock and chips the other day, it was cooked to order, absolutely huge and tasted really fresh. Next time in the village I’ll definitely go back. Well done guys.

I ordered cod with chips and was not disappointed. The fish was freshly made while I waited and when I got home it had enough batter on it so when you bit into it you was greeted with that crunchy nap, along with the fresh taste of the fish. The chips had that nice golden look to them and they were sort of fluffy but firm and not oily.
A very enjoyable meal.

First time user. Beautifully cooked cod served with a lemon wedge and a packet of tartar. Good chips. Everything was hot! Thoroughly recommend them.

Oh my god just had a large fish and chips and it was delicious, I would high recommended this place!!! Also two weeks ago with had there chicken it was so tasty, please do go its best around this area thank you very much also great service and very friendly and helpful team xx

Guy on the phone was very rude. Hung up on me mid sentence. Guess I won't be ordering from there again

Service is brilliant

We've had a couple of takeaways from here and always been pleased with the fish and chips at reasonable prices without waiting too long. They could offer a vegetarian burger option on the menu though.
