The BEST chips EVER

So, I thought I should leave a review seeing as we order sooo much from here! Always on time and often early. The chips are to die for - never a bad chip since we began ordering. The rest of their food is also great. The only thing that I find a tad annoying is that they always charge delivery, despite the fact my orders are always over £15 and I'm literally about 3/4 of a mile away 🙃.

Update of a review I left via just-eat.co.uk as agata.So...turns out,the driver never delivered the order to me. As frustrated as I was, I contacted the restaurant and the lady was exceptionally supportive in helping me sort things out. In addition, the owner of the restaurant, arrived with food at my door,personally ( something he really was not obliged to do).This is some extraordinary customer treatment and I would like to applaud those people...more people like this and the world is a better place:)
I did chat to just-eat.co.uk, so they will refund this order.As soon as they do, I will personally deliver the refund money to the Oh my Cod people.
I'm really pleased, people like this are still out there.

I’ve been to this shop for few times now and I have seen the staff treat the costumers so bad. Today I visited the employee who been treated myself very poorly. He’s the short guy with the silver chain. He was so rude with me. He would said we charge 50p per sauce but then he said this is the last time ill give you the sauce for free but not anymore. Then I said “oh okay so just charge me now I wanna pay for this and for the other days I came here haven’t been charged”. He then said I don’t care, if you been charge or not I’ll not accept it.
I don’t know if he has problems in his personal life, but he can not get his problems to his job. As it is spilling over into his customer service and had become very rude to customers. He can treat other customers as I was treated. Sadly your Battered sausage you sell is amazing I can say that but I’ll never be back in this place again due to the rude treatment from this individual

Worst at delivery, not picking up the phone when you call them and 3 hours for them to deliver cold food and when you try to call them they don't answer. Don't recommend at all

Late take away after 2230. Four excellent fish and wonderful chips. Great portions

Best fish and chips I've had in ages crisp batter loads of chips really well made worth every penny and the staff are so friendly I give it a top score all round

I helped my daughter move into her new house in Colchester, but we didn't have time to shop. No problem, we found this take away 400m away, and got amazing fish & chips with sides and drinks... £31 for six tired and hungry adults, more than sufficed. They do kebabs as well. East Euro staff really friendly and helpful. We will be regulars!
