It's a bit like stepping back to the '60's. Great Food and portions though! Kebabs have the best quality meat I have ever had.

I visited this chip shop today while working in the area according to the price bored I thought this would have cost around £2.70 for a small chips and a small battered sausage I was charged £3.20
First of all the chips had a funny taste but were cooked so I'm not sure what oil they was cooked in also some of the chips had tiny nylon strands on them which was off putting so you had to check what you was eating and put those aside.
In the chip shop I noticed that the plain sausages were very dark almost burnt that was in the cooked display cabinet so I could see they've been well cooked but upon opening the paper and seeing the battered sausage and removing some batter I could tell that the sausage had been cooked once dipped in batter and cooked for a second time making it hard and chewy like leather.
The sausage wasn't greasy but the batter did retain a lot of oil.
The paper wrapping was absolutely saturated in oil it was coming through the bottom of the paper where it had been sat in the van till I parked up and the oil was still draining off through the bottom of the paper bag onto the dashboard of my van this isn't visible in the photographs as it is directly underneath the food once I've moved it onto a plastic folder to prevent it going on my seat while unwrapping. Obviously I was starving so I eat most of the sausage and chips and left the rest that was the most greasy, burnt and covered in nylon 🙄
