Sidwell fish chips & kebab

Not good at all. Chips were average quality and below average temperature. The curry sauce was congealed and lukewarm. The mushy peas were not mushy, warm or appealing. We threw both sides out. Avoid this place.

Chips and mushy peas very standard but edible.
However the burger I just had 2 bites out of (which I spat out) was the worst tasting food I think I’ve ever had. Tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave, was soggy and wet. I feel physically sick from just the tiniest bit I ate and spitting out the rest. Worst takeaway I’ve ever had 🤮

Disgusting extremely greasy food, sauces spilled all over food packages and asked for a king size fish and chips and got two small pieces of fish in each box instead. I called up the shop expecting some reimbursement and instead was spoken to incredibly rudely and the worker wouldn’t even hear out my complaint.

I visited last week after a really busy day, I really fancied some fish, and this was the only place open. I was a bit worried about getting fish from a place that served a kebab.. However, i was pleasantly suprised. The man that served me was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the food. We ordered a kingsize fish and kingsize chips, battered sausage, mushy peas, and a battered pie. Yep, thats right. A battered pie. The food tasted so good and the fish was cooked beautifully. The only thing i would say, the chips could have been a bit bigger considering the size was kingsize, saying that.. i was comfortably full after and will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend.

AWFUL! I had food poisoning and so did my son! I new the fish was not cooked so I stoped although my son didn’t… I feel so unwell! I hope this place gets shut down asap! Never again don’t go!!

Nice takeaway chips, gorgeous kebab and lovely service. The men were really lovely and very friendly. Both my partner and I would revisit for a cheeky evening snack!

Do Not Order From Here You Will Be Sick!!! I Feel Sick From Having One Bite From The Undercooked And Greasy Fish Nearly Made Me Throw Up Threw All Of It Away And I Hope I Can Get A Refund

Cold under cooked food, hair in the batter and left us throwing up. Worst fish n chips and chicken burger with hash brown.
