Shavington Fish Bar

Collected our chippy tea last night, and it was out of this world!! 😋
Brilliant social distancing measures, my husband said the collection was very smooth! 👌
Everything was spot on, the chips were beautiful, and so was the fish, pudding, onion rings, curry/gravy/peas... sausages for the dogs!!! We all had a right feast!!!! 😂 And got some for the Nanna’s too!!!

Lovely village chip shop .The re-furb looks great . Food always nice if you haven't tried it . Give it a go you won't be disappointed......

Really hit and miss. We've been using this chippy for years, but it's always pot look on whether the chips will be cooked well. Often soggy and bland, but nice when they are crispy and cooked fully.
Reviewing because the last two lots have been very poor quality, I understand it gets busy, but i'd rather wait and have properly cooked chips, instead of a soggy clump.
(We live less than a minute away, so it's not as though the chips become soggy in the travel time.)
The refurb looks lovely though.

Only ever had the fish and chips on a few occasions but its been spot on every time . You can also order online and they will give you a time for pick up .

My favourite chippy and somewhere that I always have to visit when I'm back in the UK!

Service and food was amazing as always!

The food was great, staff friendly and the shop was really nicely decorated a very clean look.

Superb fish and chips. Great value.

Let's hope we just got them on a bad day but these chips were terrible. A jumbled soggy mess of potato with no flavour. The fish was also quite dry.
