New Tupton Fish Bar

Had kebab meat and chips for dinner from this place. Very small portion, kebab meat tastless and like rubber. Staff miserable and rude with not even a hello. You can tell it's horrible place to work. Asked for plenty of salt, vineger and hot chilli sauce. Hardly put any on and then I got moaned at for putting the vinegar on myself in front of waiting customers. I'll never visit again. I'd give no stars if I could.

The BEST!
The first time having fish and chips from this place, I have to say, it was the best fish and chips in this area. The fish was perfect! Filled with flavour and so succulent. The chips were also cooked to perfection. Definitely coming again!!

Had 2 kids meals, large chips, curry & sausage, small chips & fish cake, large sausage & chips. Chips were anaemic and not cooked properly very crunchy and hard ended up binning the lot. Complete waste of money. Its such a shame as it used to be the best around but it's definitely dropped it's standards. Will not be going here again. Ended going to a different chippy.

I’ve been going here since a kid, it’s changed management a few times.

It seems a little less organised than previously experienced as I went with a friend and waited 15 mins for an order, whilst 3 people got their orders before me and they were cooked fresh.

Needs organising a little better

Excellent counter service, polite and friendly staff, piping hot fish and chips with lots of choices

The chips are a bit hit and miss. Sometimes not cooked enough but, on the whole, a good chippy.

Just had the mini fish special tonight at around 5.30pm I didn’t taste right but I continued to eat it because I was hungry 2 hours later horrendous stomach cramps sickness and the runs like never before! I’m a local chap but will never be using you against.

Nice friendly staff and the foods not bad either ☺️
