Alberts Fish Bar

Grabbed some food here the other night for ease and was sorely disappointed. Both pieces of fish & the battered sausage tasted of pure grease and had gone through the paper & bag by the time I'd driven the 10 minutes home. The chips were okay but the best part of the whole meal was definitely the curry sauce, which in fairness was probably the nicest we've had

So disappointed that I decided to call Albert's Fish Bar first, to express my disappointment and was told there was nothing they could do about the greasy fish and over fried hard chips that I just had delivered.

I was hoping they would say that never normally happens so will send another delivery but the impression I get is that this happens on a regular basis.

Sue, please try and do better with the next delivery as it is not fair, especially when I had been looking forward to your delivery all day.

First time ordering tonight and wow 5star absolutely blown away. The food is amazing, fresh and soo nice!! You can immediately tell just by looking at it that it's so good.

Arrived ontime pipeing hot and so delicious and very well packaged.

Delivery was on time and driver very nice and friendly.
Definitely going to be ordering again.

Love it!!! I haven't been here in about 20yrs as I've moved but was visiting family and went there it was outstanding. Cod was delicious breaded mushrooms a but overpriced but still great.

This is not a dedicated fish and chip shop, it's basically another takeaway that does fish and chips.
Over priced for portion you receive. Disappointed is an understatement.
First and last visit.

I ordered some of their food through just eat today and I have to say it is easily the best I have had in the area. If your a fan of scampi then Albert's is a must have, and the curry sauce is on point too.

Thank you Albert's for my first enjoyable fish and chips in a while! I will definitely be returning.

Portions have got smaller and prices have gone up but where haven't they.
Stil tastes good though
