Lived near this place for 19 years and only been in once, hence this review. Portions are great quality is above average for a chip/pizza/kebab takeaway.

I'm so disappointed with this meal. Cheese burger with no cheese or salad, just burger and bun. £7 (!!) wrap "big enough for two" is 3 bits of chicken in a medium wrap. I feel robbed.

Order on the Golden Fryer website. 1 hour and half later - no food. Tried to call, no answer. Called the food hub number to request refund and was advised they cannot give it and need to speak to the Golden Fryer. Husband went to the shop to find it closed with a note in the window, another shop doing the food. Not only did we wait 2 hrs but we were charged golden fryer prices (more expensive than shop that delivered - city pizza). Chips were disgusting and had only a sausage edible. Will NEVER get food from this chip shop again. Do yourself a favour and avoid like the plague.

Absolutely shocking food I don't recommend even if it's the only place open. My fish was as thick as cardboard. No salad on any meals chips overcooked and not alot of them.

If there was an option for no stars that would have been my choice. Ordered food at 6:20. It is now 9:35 I have no food and just been notified to say my delivery is complete. Called the restaurant hundreds of times no answer. Too late to eat so going to bed hungry. Don’t bother

Abouslutely discusting fish smelt like petrol. Portions was shocking. Orderd the bun deals no frickin buns asked for medium size portion of chips got a hand full. No salad on wrap which was requested. Sauce didn't even turn up. Best part of the meal was the Pepsi. What cost us 30 quid for 4 cans cuz the food was discusting

Used to be great and possibly up there with one of the best chippies in Nuneaton. They used to have great size portions, and quality of food and a fair price with minimal waiting time. However, now in my opinion the quality of food has gone down, the chips are hit and miss and the sizes have shrunk and prices risen. Before a wrap was big enough for two people, now it costs more and is smaller. shame it sued to be great!

Large chips 3.20 more like a small to medium portion ...portions get smaller! fish doesn't come with gold trimmings either even though the large fish is 6.49... customers need to take a bank loan out if you buy from here cos you will be ripped off ...won't use again il stick with PETE'S CHIPPY better value for money !!!
