Shakies Chippy

I came in on Saturday night and ordered two fish and chip meal deals and a senior citizen’s, there was two girls working and they were the most polite and well mannered staff you could’ve asked for. Food was fresh and the fish was crispy. Wait time was minimal and I will definitely be back for sure! Thank you!

As soon as this food arrived we were overwhelmed by the fishy smell. Fresh fish should not smell like that. When we opened it we found the fish absolutely dripping in oil and grease, way more than you would ever expect from a battered fish. The batter was soggy and smelly and the oil had made a hole in the tray and leaked all over contents of the bag. The chips just tasted of grease and everything stinks. I will not be eating a single bite. Used to be a great chippy. Don't know what's happened. I am very disappointed.

Excellent food , great staff , food Is always boiling , can’t fault ! Wouldn’t use anywhere else and even better the prices are brilliant !

Local chippy which does exactly what it says on the tin. Affordable, decent portions and handy. Can't ask for anything more!

I've since made 2 orders and its massively improved, fast delivery, friendly delivery driver and staff. Only thing letting it down is the size of the large fish slightly under sized. I Recommend this chippy

Took his cans of pop off the meals but kept them the same price.
Food is OK.
