Seafare Guildford Fish and Chips

UPDATE: The manager has since provided a sincere apology, explanation and kindly provided some vouchers. We redeemed the vouchers today and I ordered plaice and chips, which was superb! Back to its normal high quality - so it was definitely a one-off bad day…

Ordered delivery. Something was wrong with the quality today. The pollock meat was dry and looked old - awful. The chips were comforting but they don’t seem to be the same quality as before.

We are regular customers but haven’t ordered for about 3 months. Hoping this was just an off-day at the fryer, as it used to be great quality 🤞

Chicken burger is a shame, the worst I ever eat in UK, maybe fish is better but I don't think so, never visit again
Later edit: chicken burger only with inedible and tasteless bread and one slice of cheese? Without salad or sauce, mayo anything so that burger can be eaten

Absolutely disgraceful portion sizes of chips what a complete rip off, the fact that am not the only person that has left a bad review how shocking. Also the Food isn't great

Best fish and chips I’ve ever tried, very friendly staff and efficient service. Fryer was very friendly and served the best food. Front staff also very friendly always smiling and welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again. 10/10.

Food cold and not fresh handful of chips and £2.20 for the smallest curry sauce pot I’ve ever seen

Top quality all round but reduced the menu a lot. Understanderable in these difficult times.
