Not nice atall. Always praised this fish n chip shop taking various family members there. The last time for a quick take away wasn't good. Thought we'd try again last night. Overcooked, greasy and no flavour. Very little fish inside the batter (ordered large fish) Husband can eat almost anything even if he doesn't like it. Within half an hour of eating, he had to take Alka seltzer. Very disappointed.

There Chips are amazing, I wanted gravy but as they don't do boxes I chose without and I'm glad I did because there chips are on another level!.. highly recommend 😋😋😋

Took the parents out for fish and chip lunch. The dining room / restaurant was very clean and comfy, the staff couldn't be more helpful and efficient. We all had the fish and chip lunchtime special which was well presented, hot and tasty, and very reasonably priced. For very happy customers.

Had takeaway so can't comment on atmosphere. Beautiful batter, cooked fresh to order. Just brilliant. Very quick polite service

I went there today for some fish and chips for lunch. The food was top quality and it was definitely worth the £9 I spent.

Chips were only warm as if they had been sitting around for a while, no choice of fish or curry sauce, wouldn't have minded if it was near closings, but they still had 2hrs of service to go. 🤬

Usually good this one occasion being this time food taste burn oil maybe ? And the battered sausage batter was ultra crispy but taste burnt but weirdly the sausage was pink !

I think this a one off as I’ve never had this from a great tasting fish n chips this just for the shop to address only

Day after I nearly ended up in hospital due constant bad vomiting and heart pain brought on by the food as it caused bad acid levels in my stomach which meant I had no sleep tried every thing from milk gaviscon and more nothing worked and can still taste the food now never returning

With no where else to go in Yeovil, popped into Palmers for Steak pie, chips and curry sauce. Have to say was absolutely delicious. The chips were crispy, pie one of the best and the curry sauce which was more fruity than the usual, really made it. They really deserve to be a success.
