It’s took me a long time to find a decent chippy with tasty food so was pleased to finally find this one last week. I returned today but from the moment I walked in the shop there was no smile and felt very unwelcoming. Staff use the till handling money and touch the food, I work with food myself so was really surprised. I noticed I was overcharged and when I asked about it, was rudely told the till was updated but not the menu screen. I don’t mind if I’m told about the price increase but the woman ( I’m assuming the manager)? made me feel like I was not welcome back!!!

Chips were like they used old potatoes no smell of chips when you walk in there was no one in the shop , the lady behind the till miserable we will never buy chips again in that shop .

This chippy as well and truly gone down hill. Just ordered 2 kebabs in Nan bread and a cone of chips cost £15. Absolutely disgusting! Kebab meat was hard and the man bread was thick burnt and cold. Sauces were watered down. Let’s not forget the amount! Shocking. Won’t be eating from there again. Although the staff are lovely there (the younger ones) the food is unbelievable. Broxtow fish bar it will be for me

Me and my missus use to always get food from here and everything, it's gone down hill, and I had the food, ended up with food poisoning. 😠

Went to get a tray of kebab meat just meat we wanted...She said no you have to have chips with it ?...Just said ok then how silly is that can't understand why we had to have chips with it...But on the web page says tray of meat 😕 Oh well lose custom...Not has good has it use to be gone down hill.

Just been down to this chip shop at 8.30 pm to be told they have turned the fryers off and won't be cooking anything else and what chip shop closes at 9.30? If I could rate 0 stars if I could,I know 90% of chip shops local to me don't switch their fryers off at 8.30 and don't close at 9.30,I'd avoid this place if you want anything to eat after 8.30pm
