Very expensive, not brilliant quality but worst of all is the service. They don't smile and speak just enough to take the order. When they've served you they don't even look at you and don't speak , no thank you, enjoy or goodbye.
The worst place I've ever been too, rude to the extreme, expensive and not that good.

Cash only. No proper cooking equipment as was using a Stanley knife to open the pitta bread. Then used the knife to open a box put me off completely.

Currently writing this sat on the toilet, ordered and ate a kebab from there approx 4 hours ago and now I'm sat on the toilet with diarrhea (I've been fine all day), I never write reviews but felt I had to, the doner meat wasn't even on the thing they normally cook it on it was just in a tray, came out in literally 45 seconds.. tasted pretty good tbf but can't recommend, not after this.

Nice food .a bit over priced compared to were we live but very nice.

As a regular customer since 2017, I can never fault anything from here.

The food is freshly cooked, hot and tasty.

This is a very popular takeaway. Always busy, but a quick turnaround on orders.

Very disappointed. I had chicken and chips and my 2 stars or for the chips, the chicken was disgusting dry hard tastes like dry oil then cooked again in oil it's was awful I wouldn't feed it to my dog (if I had 1). Such a shame as I have eaten there before and it was lovely but this time a huge disappointment.

A few days before visiting this establishment, I was hiking alongside a river in Snowdonia National Park, when I stumbled across a fish that had beached itself and died on the riverbank. The fish was rotting and surrounded by flies, and smelled absolutely repulsive. That being said, cooking that fish and eating it would have been a better dining experience than eating here at Golden Fish & Chips. To call what I ate "Fish and Chips" is an insult to the fish that was killed and cooked, an insult to the potatoes turned into the tasteless mush that was offered as chips, and an insult to one of the only parts of British Cuisine that this nation can be proud of. I would not recommend eating here, and I would rate it a 0 out of 5 if I could.

Really enjoyed the fish and chip supper. Both fish and chips were fried while I waited. One of the best I've had in a long time. Large portion, clean premises and quick service.
