We had great fish and chips here, service was very friendly and the fish was excellent! We almost didn't come here because of the reviews but I am so glad we did! Good value, good food and great staff!

Very good chips. Best by far anywhere in the surrounding areas around Newcastle Emlyn.

Even if you're stuck and hungry, go elsewhere

Stopped here for food as passing by, what wanted wasn't available so I had cottage pie and chips and my wife had sausage in batter and chips.

Upside was it has dog friendly tables outside. Downside is very expensive £15 for the above with a coffee. Chips were greasy and far too large portions, cottage pie was reheated and cold in the middle possibly a microwave job.

I don't get places like these, I could have bought a cottage pie at the premier and microwaved it. All they have to do is prepare something of decent quality for its customers to enjoy but short cuts and high prices come first. If I wasn't so hungry it would have gone in the bin.

Separate fryer for chips - no cross contamination with animal products, yay! Friendly staff.

Excellent fish and chip cafe and takeaway. The quality of the food is excellent, service is friendly and welcoming and it has a wide choice on the menu. Highly recommended

This business is now called 'Teifi Chips'. I have been a number of times over the past year for takeaway fish&chips, and each time I was disappointed with a miserable bit of dried up tailend fish. Today, I had a sitdown meal, ordered the 'large' cod option, and 'low and behold' another tailend, dried up, skinny piece of fish appeared, with a big hole under the batter! The chips were pretty poor too. With peas, bread&butter and tea, the bill was £15.25. way too much for such poor fare. I've given them enough chances now, I will never go there again.

Friendly staff and freshly cooked food.
One way system in place and encouraged to wait outside until food was ready (and then brought out). Chips were really tasty.
Not cheap but for a small town you'd expect a little mark up on price.
I'd recommend and I'd return.
