Ashvale Fish Shop

Amazing food, great taste, fast delivery and an all out must try. Myself and partner ordered from them after our original order to a different chippy got cancelled 4 hours later and we were not disappointed. Food was fresh, delicious, full of flavour and very prompt. Will definately be ordering from this fast and friendly restaurant again.

Haven’t eaten from here before so we tried two of the specials. Nice fish although there were bones in it so abit annoying having to pick those out. Beef and onion pie was well cooked, with crispy pastry and good value. Curry and gravy came in small pots but were also tasty. One issue Chips were not cooked through so had a bite to them which was abit off putting, they had a funny flavour so it could have been the oil they were cooked in. I don’t think I’d have them again.

Very nice food at a good price aswell considering the rising costs everywhere I would recommend coming here for a good chippy

I use to you this fishshop regular but few times a few months ago food was poor chips was totally a waste of money . I returned this week October 22 to give it another go . I see nothing had changed . Bring back the girls cooking , when they was cooking permanently this fish shop was 5star plus lush food . But the food is gone so bad since the man is cooking. I give you no stars at moment. I doubt if I will ever return now .

Called in Friday 14th October had chips pies sausage curry to the value of £12 the chips were disgusting and were put in the bin wont be going again very poor

I don't know if it's because of new owners but this used to be one of the best in and around Tredegar, however recently the standard of food is below par, cant see me going there again

Food has now become below par, in the past was a very good chip shop but since a change of owner it is no longer a place I would go to again 🤢
