The Bay View Fish and Chip Shop

Hit and miss with this place. Had lovely chips few days ago for lunch . Tonight they had obviously been kept warm all day. Cold hard and greasy. Think I'd avoid after lunch time in future.

Shocking food. Not cheap and waited ages. Portion sizes are small. Chips are not even proper chips they are frozen chips which should make the service quicker. Oh and every mouthful was like having a mouthful of salt. Wouldn't eat there ever again not even if it was free.

This fish shop has gone down hill since the summer, frozen chips which tasted of card board and must have changed the gravy granules as it tasted bland and disgusting. I will not be going back there that's for sure. Beales every time.

Ordered 2 small chips and a large sausage in batter, I did not see the guy behind the counter put a sausage in batter with my order.
He assured that the sausage in batter was in the order together with the chips but I still had my doubts.
After I walked out of the shop I checked both boxes of chips and there was no sausage in batter.
When I went back in the guy lied straight to my face saying he put it in there but I had to show him that there was no sausage in batter because he wouldn't believe me.
He even tried to talk behind my back to his co-worker how he had put the sausage in batter in there.
WORST SERVICE EVER!

They have a really bad system, basically serve a load of customers, then get them to wait for their food. Mix up everyone's orders and have some people wait ages while everyone that was served after them gets their food first. Food wasn't great either. Staff are very rude - this is a common thing across the whole park!

This place was good when I was a kid but has gone downhill massively

We waited 20 minutes and paid around £9 for two trays of barely cooked oven chips, they're just taking advantage of the people on their holiday

I dont know why people complain, I was able to club two muggers to death with the over cooked sausage in batter. Chips aren't even chip shop chips, they are oven chips and they give you barely a mouth full for 2.99. Staff were rude when I asked for a fork and didn't have any. It's Covid times and they managed to forget to cook my brothers food even though there's only two in the shop at a time. An absolute disgrace of a chip shop.

All 4 of us had diarrhoea after eating here! Also 4chips 3 fish and a curry sauce cost £36! If you can drive there’s plenty of chippys locally which I’m sure won’t give you the ending we had!
