disgusting place rude ignorant staff never go there again absolutely disgusting place the staff are vile ignorant and tried to charge me £6.90 for a tray of gravy and chips ! when i obviously told them it was wrong i was told they were right and i was wrong once i said again no thats wrong and after the dark haired older woman giving me dirty looks and also telling me that i was charge the right price which i replied in a shop full of customers i dont even work here and i know one tray of chips and gravy dont cost seven quid the young polish girl working said aw i made a mistake and threw £2.50 at me saying she charged me for someone else's food rude abrupt sarcastic they were cocky to young girl there after she asked for a cone of chips the dark haired old cow said this is a restaurant we dont sell cones ?? um lv you stink of chip fat in stinking dirty overalls standing in front of a big sign saying fish and chips trust me lv your not working in a restaurant you work in a chip shop you sell over the counter food wil never in my life eat there again and i hope the staff who work there are hoping on working there for the reminder of their lives as they would never get a job anyone else with their stinking fishy attitudes!!

Disgusting please stay away its dirty and the owners are horrible kept looking at us in a horrible way no manners the only reason I paid was because the other staff was lovely but avoid at all costs. Pie gravy and chips was charged £6.90 me and the misses had the same but we couldn't eat it we had to leave and look for somewhere else to eat and that price you would expect better food not the rubbish they served us owners give the worst food for a high price

Went there today for the first time in years. Bit of a treat before the healthy eating food is restored after new year
Well if ever I fancy swaying off my diet I will just think of the "Mini Extra Cod " I was subjected too. It was disgusting. The chips were like warm at best. The extra cod . Well theres nothing e tra except extra chewy. Would guess it was replunged in the oil . It was rank. The curry sauce was like water. Cold and horrendous. Had such fond memories of going there with my mum and dad. Their favourite chippie. I'm sad to say that that memories wont be revisited ever again. The owner was abrupt and crask .so if I could award no stars I would. Please avoid.

I ordered two large cod and chips and was served with two lumps of batter with wafer thin slithers of cod (possibly another species of fish). If this was a large cod I suspect that it must of diet of starvation. The tables and floor were filthy, and the lady in charge extremely rude. If it were possible to give minus stars I would. In short avoid like the plague.

ordered 6 meals it brought out in drips and drabs. it took 30 minutes for all the food to come out. 1 order was wrong told 1st that there was no rice ask why we wasnt told? no reply chef came out and told us he wasnt told it was half and half. food was nice thou but not worth the wait

Went with a group of 8 people. We were very well served with good portions and complementary sauces for the chips. We didn't had to wait for too long as well. Recommend it to everyone.

Portion sizes for the price was great, but a lot of the chips were skinny and hard and contained too many scrumps. The people who served me hardly communicated with me and none of them smiled.

Miserable resemblance to a restaurant. Low in quality, quantity and high disproportionate prices. Even the coffee tastes like liquid from a used mop bracket.
Do yourselves a favour and stay away.
