Cook's Fish & Chip Shop

Food was good, portion size of chips was same medium and large, good price , lots seating area but no shade, lots bins and nice people

Very overpriced frozen fish and frozen chip...large cod and chips and kids nuggets and chips over £18! Could have accepted had it been fresh. Won't be won't be going back and would not recommend

Really poor fish and chips! Chips were dry, fish was supposed to be a large cod but was the same size as a small at my local chippy in Bedford. It wasn't just me being unlucky either as our party ordered 3 large fish and mine was the biggest! The batter wasn't great either and did I mention it was £12.95! Absolute rip off even if it was good quality. Unfortunately they were closing soon after we ordered so by the time we got back and opened them up they were shut otherwise I would have returned and asked for my money back.

Can honestly say this was the most disgusting chip shop meal I have ever had in my 64 years. Almost inedible. Would definitely not recommend

Paid nearly £60 fir a family lot of fish and chips to receive a babies portion of everything large fish no bigger than a kids sized portion at local chippy
Child were frozen mc cain oven chips or at least exactly the same as then.
Fish was dry and not worth the money paid.

Fish was nice and everything was hot but the chips were just like cheap oven chips....shame really

Absolutely disgusting battered sausage over cooked greasy and horrible chicken & mushroom pie rock hard on top soft around the sides fish greasy and disgusting chicken burger was more like a chicken strip in an oversized bun and for a regular chips I’ve honestly seen more chips in a cone of chips. Kids refused to eat it as they said it was horrible ridiculously over priced. A shame you have to give them 1 star as they don’t deserve any!! Do yourself a favour and go off camp for your fish and chips that way you won’t be disappointed!!!

This Fish and chip shop was new to us. Nice fish with ample portions of chips, because we come from Yorkshire, the batter was very different from what we are used to. So could have been more crispy. It's just that everywhere we go there is no place like Yorkshire where the fish and chips are so tasty. I don't think everyone would agree with that statement.
