Dee's Delicious Fish & Chips

Poor service, the fish quality is poor and I am sure the Cod is not Cod but an inferior quality white fish - and its always over cooked. The only saving grace is the chips are generally OK.

Dont waste your money. Service is appalling, I stood in the queue for 10 mins the lady serving saw me yet I got compeltely overlooked and the people behind me got served first. Genuine mistake you may say fair enough, as for the chips well..... theyre over priced, you can nearly always guarantee theyll be undercooked or overcooked, fish is a strange grey colour and just not worth the money. Stick some McCanns chips in the oven and be done with it. Either that or pay £1.80 for a half filled bag of mess!

Worst Scampi and chips Ive ever tasted. Awful. This doesn't taste like British food. One scampi cut into 4 and each fried in batter. Greasy chips. DONT SPEND MONEY THERE! 0/10 Theres better chips in Langley!

Food was fine, not the best I ever had, but better than other reviews on here give credit for. Staff were polite and worked quickly. Portions are generous, and priced well. The fish is definitely cod, despite what other reviews say.

Last week I went to dees fish and chips to buy a meal. One of the polish staff member was serving me and was absolutely rude. I ordered a small portion of chips and was waiting for my order. Another customer ordered the same item as me and she gave him more. Also she was mixing the tongs between the meat and fish and I have a religious requirement. I asked her why she was mixing the tongs. She said if you want the food take it, otherwise go somewhere else. She was not wearing a hair Net or gloves when touching the food. When I was was speaking to the polish staff member the chef was swearing in the background. They were frying the meat and fish in the same oil. The only meat they serve that is halal is the lamb. This place should be shut down!! Absolutely disgusting.

Chips weren’t fresh ,was also hard and dried. Wouldn’t recommend. Chicken was dried and crusty. I recommend Roxy’s chicken.

Excellent customer service and food is always fresh. I will definitely order again and will recommend to family and friends.
