An absolutely amazing classic English fish 🐟 & chips! Great staff and beautiful interior. Really good selection of food including fresh fish. Definitely worth a visit if you are near.

The food isn't bad but the prices are disgusting. £9.95 for large cod and you didn't include chips. They're £3.95!! So that's £14 for large cod and chips ...

Companies like this that rip customers off won't last. I simply tell people and will refuse to visit again.

If they were more realistic with their pricing then they would see more repeat custom.

I understand things cost more now but £14?? Get real.

Very friendly helpful staff , Excellent fish and chips. We dined in and will definitely go back again. Maybe next time I would have the lunch time special for smaller appetites,as I could not eat it all. They were more than happy to offer take home box for the rest.

Food was amazing as always, and the service is very good. When we visited it was quite busy but not a down point on the restaurant. The prices do seem a bit bigger than before but with cost of things going up it isn't unreasonable. Overall would highly recommend.

First time trying Papa Barn, and was lovely and will order again.

However, getting a four star due to card machine being down and not making customers who were collecting aware in advance (didn't give the option to pay when placing order online). So had to drive to find the closest cash machine and pay a charge to get money out when could have been avoided if we were able to pay online beforehand.

The chips are so good! Very fluffy centres and not at all greasy. I had the beef burger and it was very good- tasted like a real quality beef burger not a flat processed one. The others had cod and chips and thought they were very good too. Will definitely go there again.

Had my Granddaughter to stay and she loves her Fish and chips so what better place to take her. She had one of the small plate meals which was just the right size for her. Beautifully cooked. After she had ice cream with sauce and sprinkles. My partner had a large cod and chips and he had an enormous slice of fudge cake for dessert. The service is lovely, the girls are all helpful, polite and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend going here for lunch or dinner.
