The taste is not so much. But owner is nice guy and price is good.

I really like the food here! It is good quality and value. This is definitely my favourite fish and chips shop in Cardiff. I highly recommend eating here, especially if you are looking for a quick meal around Cathays.

As a Scot I can confirm that these people know Fish and Chips. Could do with a wider variety like a Pizza Crunch or a King Rib, but what they do have is excellent. Batter is just right, not too soft, not too crispy, and crammed with flavour. They even offer multiple types of curry sauce, both of which are fantastic.
Plus they're super friendly which is always a nice bonus.

Best chippy in Cardiff. We go there every Sunday and the staff is a delight, the food tasty as always and the service unbeatable.

For those who leave bad reviews, you should reconsider them...

Tremendous fish and chips, best in town. Great for students like myself and saw plenty of other customers who had piping hot food. Everything is made fresh and the donner kebab was simply outstanding. You’ve got yourself a regular customer lads

One of the best chippies in this area! Fish cooked to order and chips were spot on! The price was if anything too cheap for what you get. Excellent customer service and will deffo be back on the next visit to Cardiff. Don’t forget to try the curry sauce !

Legitimately done the best pizza in Cardiff, myself and the Mrs ordered it every week. So gutted you stopped doing them. Still deserves 5 stars tho!

Lovely staff and amazing tasting food, especially the chicken donner and chips, chicken curry and chips... mainly they do their sausage in batter in a different way where they are extra crispy and and full of flavour.
