Awful experience, read on…

Food delicious, prices good, menu excellent, staff superb, so why the one star review???

Over an hour in the queue!!!
Not enough staff, and the girls in there deserve to be paid way more than they are. Both clearly desperate for the day to end, but both polite and professional.

I will not come back until reviews on here start telling positives about how the staff is treated.

Customers were walking away. It doesn’t take a genius to work out if you had a couple more staff on £12/£13 an hour, you would sell way more than their wages.

Really tasty, but yesterday they closed 40 min earlier! That was frustrating because we planned our day with this treat.
Yes, it was warm but I can't stop working earlier if its hot and if you want then you should announce it, we checked online for the opening times!

Great food and reasonably priced. Every visit to Prestatyn will be a visit to this chip shop for us. Large peas will do 4 ppl so beware.

Good fish and chips freshly cooked. Unfortunately for one of our party the advertised gluten free option is only available on Fridays.

The tiles on the wall look like they could do with a good clean food wasn't the best my chips had loads of batter pieces in with them, so obviously haven't cleared it after cooking the fish. And if a regular customer walks in behind you expect them to be served before you. Curry sauce was nice though

Food from here was amazing, we always use this chippy when we at pontins Prestatyn. The fish is so nice and the staff are very friendly. Recommend this chippy to everyone. 5* service and quality food

Best Chip Shop, been coming here for nearly 30 years and still never had a bad meal. Fresh fish every time, with the option to eat in. Pleasent and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back.

Proper fish and chip shop.
When its busy, be prepared to wait for a while. It's worth the wait. The fryer is very experienced and fries a perfect fish.
Perhaps sometimes when its busy, the grumpy customers are not tolerated too well.
The best fish n chip shop for miles.
