Lovely, cosy cottage, comfy beds, slept so well. Very friendly place and people, beautiful grounds. Every morning a heron comes to lakes, geese and ducks on the water.

Popped into the Llandegla cafe as a nice road café for lunch. Busy place with holiday makers and fishermen. Cream tea very good and a bright sunny day to be able to sit outside by one of the small fishing ponds

Had a bit of time to kill before laser tag which was literally 2 mins away. Called in here for a cuppa and a scone! £6.50 for scone, can of coke, cuppa tea, fruit shoot and a water.

Fabulous stay in the holiday cottage. Really clean, well equipped & comfy. Ate in the cafe & the food was delicious. Checked out the camping facilities & they looked spotless so will return soon for a spot of camping. The proximity to One Adventure Llandegla mountain biking trails is great!

I would strongly recommend visiting here. It's such a beautiful place. I stopped into the cafe for a coffee and sat outside. The fishery looked amazing and the food & drink in the cafe was lovely. Staff are lovely too.

Havent visited for 30+ years. Popped in on Sat morning for some breakfast with my daughter. I had smoked trout/Scrambled eggs on toast with a lovely Cappauchino.
Super clean place, great fast service and good quality food with a nice view of the fishing lakes. Definitely stopping by. Smoked trout for sale to takr home there too

Great site, will go again.
Wish there was a safer route into the Forrest from the site rather than walking down the main road, other than that perhaps needs a few more toilets and showers for when it gets busy but it didn’t impact our trip.

Have fished here for a number of years and cannot understand why I have not posted before. Good stock of rainbows and resident browns, as well as the welcoming cafe for refreshments. Traditional flies work well and you can be confident there are fish to be caught. Recent visit on 11/11 caught two rainbows to2 1/2 lb and nice brown around 4lb on hares ear. Worth a visit if you live in the area, or staying on one of the pitches on site. Tight lines !
