Great little shop with lovely fresh fish and a superb selection of fruit, vegetables, and delicatessen produce. Pheasants and other game when in season. Hugh Sutton who owns the shop is a wonderful character and his presentation of his produce is simply wonderful.

This place is a real gem. He sells the freshest most high quality produce you could imagine. The fish is so fresh, had turbot a few times! The wild boar sausages and burgers are divine.

Elderly gentleman was quite abrupt and would not give exact pricing . Just kept remarking in the type of vehicle we came in saying money shouldn't be an issue! Lovely place and shop, just a shame about the service. At least 5 regular customers lost...

Excellent food but owner has a bee in his bonnet about accepting visa card because of price that Barclays charges per transaction. I only had a tenner, so I couldn't buy all the venison and scallops I wanted...which was a shame as I wanted to take some stuff home. Still, it is his business and if he doesn't want to market to his customers requirements and maximise his returns, that is up to him.

Fantastic Fishmongers carrying on in a long established family business where even now we have 3 generations present. The crabs and scallops are unbeatable in freshness and taste. The veg and fruit are gorgeous. What can be better than going for a swim in the sea followed by buying fresh fish and veg and an ice cream all served by such a lovely family. I can't wait until I return!

All fresh products, polite and always happy to serve and give advice. Get my Christmas meats every year even though I have to travel 20 miles. I visit several times a year under normal times but missed last year due to covid.

This is a beautiful shop and most inviting with a fascinating array of unusual food and drink. The owner was courteous and professional and I was expecting a wonderful breakfast the following day when I bought a bottle of Kentish apple juice, duck eggs, and a selection of venison and wild boar sausages. Indeed, the apple juice and duck eggs lived up to expectation, but the venison sausages were sadly, for me, inedible, being "mealy" - dry, stodgy, and simply unappetizing. After one mouthful, I couldn't continue. The wild boar sausages were better but not outstanding. I have eaten venison and wild boar sausages before so was anticipating something truly special, and for the price, I was deeply disappointed. The apple juice and the duck eggs were delicious but the sausages left a lingering aftertaste. Sadly, I don't think I shall be returning here.
