I started classes with Jo a year ago and was apprehensive due to having long covid and whether I would be able to manage the class. I needn't have worried. Right from the start Jo has been supportive, encouraging and has adapted exercises if I've needed it. I do a reformer class and every week is different, Jo is a great teacher and explains everything clearly. The classes are really friendly and welcoming, everyone is lovely, so if you fancy giving Pilates a go, this is the place!

Pilates with Joanne is really good she caters for all ages and abilities. The exercises are varied and interesting, she makes certain we are undertaking the exercise correctly and makes adjustments to accommodate any issues a client may have that week. The session is stretching, fun and friendly. Joanne is knowledgeable about Pilates and she demonstrates this week on week.

A year on since my last comment. I Attend a semi private class and Jo continues with her great support to her clients. Checking how their body is feeling and working before a class begins and tailoring to the need at that time. She has a working relationship with local physios and knows when to recommend an appointment. This is reciprocated. Without her I would not be so flexible or mobile as I am at 62. The classes are fun too!

The classes are excellent. Teachers take the time to get to know you and help you progress and improve. The range of their knowledge means classes are always varied and interesting. I cannot believe the difference Pilates makes when it is well taught and structured as it is at Simply Pilates. I've tried other classes in the past at other venues but none have helped me achieve the results I am seeing now. Definitely give Simply Pilates a try, you won't be disappointed.

After a back issue I started pilates last year . I picked Simply Pilates because Jo was recommended. I do reformer sessions in a mixed class. Apart from the health benefits and feeling so much fitter. I really enjoy the sessions. Jo always mixes things up to keep things interesting and is constantly checking everybody is carrying out new exercises okay, without being overly intrusive. We also have some good banter at times whilst having a thorough workout. At the beginning Jo ensured I was okay with all the basics before I joined a group session. Thoroughly recommend Jo and Simply Pilates if you are thinking about it give it a go. PS back has had a twinge since I started

Joanne provides a great variety within her pilates sessions offering a range of challenges. Alternative methods are available to best match individual capabilities. The classes are fun and friendly and Joanne takes into account any aches/pains/strains which individuals have and provides helpful advice and support.

I do the Zoom classes Joanne started during COVID because I have moved out of the area where her studio is.
Joanne is a fantastic teacher - her instructions are always very clear, she is patient and always has modifications to suggest for any exercise to accommodate everyone's abilities.

A great studio. It keeps on developing, and the sessions are varied so it does not get boring or repetitive. Joanne titrates the class to each individual, so that everyones weaknesses and strengths are considered. Highly recommended. Superb classes, and of course fantastic learners!
