Recently I made the decision to move to their new studio on Magdalen Road from the Movement Studio. The combination of easier access, variety of classes and not wanting to give up my boxing classes were a few of the pros.
But there are so many more- the space itself is perfect pros not only being the carefully selected exercise equipment available but the amazing showers and GHDs make early morning sessions before work much easier!
The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable in what they do. Each selected with varied interests from kayaking to powerlifting and boxing to Indian clubs...
But how do I summarise the new gym. Maybe this message I sent to the team after an epic weekend session:
I'm loving the new gym.... had a great session Saturday morning... loving the group sessions and the teamwork that comes out of it... Matt and Milly really listened to what we needed to push ourselves that bit more... It did help it was sandwiched by getting bread from Hamblin before and coffee from Missing Bean after! 😁
I would recommend this gym to anyone (and have!) but especially if you're unsure about how to start back in on exercise. I started from nil knowledge and confidence and I love it - I've enjoyed every session. The intro sessions are perfect so you know exactly where to start from. I cant recommend this place enough - its really transformed how I think about exercise.
A very significant additional 'bonus' to being a client of Project PT is that you are supporting an organization who, in addition to offering excellent training services, have an equally impressive social impact program focused on vulnerable young people. In my view the importance of this sort of work cannot be overstated, and Project PT are to be highly commended for their great work in this space.
