I've been with The Project PT since the beginning and have loved watching it grow and develop. So much more than just exercise... sessions with the project have benefited me not only physically but also mentally and emotionally... also, lucky enough to have made friends for life through these guys!

Recently I made the decision to move to their new studio on Magdalen Road from the Movement Studio. The combination of easier access, variety of classes and not wanting to give up my boxing classes were a few of the pros.

But there are so many more- the space itself is perfect pros not only being the carefully selected exercise equipment available but the amazing showers and GHDs make early morning sessions before work much easier!

The staff are friendly, enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable in what they do. Each selected with varied interests from kayaking to powerlifting and boxing to Indian clubs...

But how do I summarise the new gym. Maybe this message I sent to the team after an epic weekend session:

I'm loving the new gym.... had a great session Saturday morning... loving the group sessions and the teamwork that comes out of it... Matt and Milly really listened to what we needed to push ourselves that bit more... It did help it was sandwiched by getting bread from Hamblin before and coffee from Missing Bean after! 😁

My new happy place!!! The trainers are super lovely, knowledgeable and non-judgemental. The sessions are small and really personalised, so everyone gets exactly what they need - there is a huge variety in class attendees, which is lovely. All trainers are really welcoming and they clearly know what they are doing. There is just the right amount of push versus support, and I love how it feels like everyone is celebrating each other's small and/or huge wins. By far the best gym I've been to, hands down (and I've been to almost all of them in Oxford at some point!).

Love this gym. I've been going to Magdalen Road classes since they opened in January. They are really dedicated to seeing your fitness improve, focusing on technique and building strength and confidence. It's lots of fun and inclusive. I would highly recommend

This is my favourite gym ever - the format of small group classes is perfect for me as I know exactly what to do, and why - the trainers are fantastic, positive and knowledgeable. The organisation is super positive - there is no emphasis on weight loss, just positivity around exercise to make you feel at your best. Also it's super inclusive, clean, bright and every member I've met has been absolutely brilliant too.

I would recommend this gym to anyone (and have!) but especially if you're unsure about how to start back in on exercise. I started from nil knowledge and confidence and I love it - I've enjoyed every session. The intro sessions are perfect so you know exactly where to start from. I cant recommend this place enough - its really transformed how I think about exercise.

An absolute joy of a gym. Super knowledgeable and friendly coaches, gorgeous facilities and classes that feel more like small PT sessions. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

I've been training at Project PT for a few months and have been very impressed by their offering: knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Having been a consumer of various PT services over many years, including some fairly 'fancy' ones in both Hong Kong and London, I really view the Project PT offering as being right up there in terms of effectiveness and results, but in a thankfully down-to-earth manner.

A very significant additional 'bonus' to being a client of Project PT is that you are supporting an organization who, in addition to offering excellent training services, have an equally impressive social impact program focused on vulnerable young people. In my view the importance of this sort of work cannot be overstated, and Project PT are to be highly commended for their great work in this space.

If you're not sure that the hyper-focus on body image prevalent in most commercial gyms is a good fit for you, this is the right place for you. The Project PT trainers emphasize strength, activity and a healthy mindset and you feel that they genuinely care about you as an individual and not just a client. And they deliver results - I am amazed at how much stronger and comfortable I am in my body with just a few months of training and I'm excited to see what I can do in the coming year. The Project PT is the best gym I've ever been part of and it is truly a non-judgmental and supportive community. Thank you so much!

I am so glad I found project PT! I attended one of their yoga & brunch sessions, and couldn't recommend it more. The team had put so much effort and creativity into making the space unique and charming, and were all so welcoming. Hannah pitched the yoga class perfectly - I think that's the first time I've done a 90 minute yoga class without my mind drifting off! Brunch was also fab. Altogether - faultless.
