Nice gym, good to have free parking on site, can get quite busy at peak times... friendly staff and nice group classes!

Its alright as gyms go, can be busy at peak times and its in need of investment for new kit. As a lot of the machines could do with repairs or just straight up replacing.

For some reason the gym closes for 2 days every six months to seemingly do nothing?

They have also undergone the complete removal of cleaning stations under the guise of its better for the environment.

I visited this branch as my usual one is closed for a week. It was clean and tidy, but the lights went off for about 10-15minutes (during the night) so couldn’t see much. Also has more of a commercial, impersonal feeling to it than the City Centre branch.

Get what you pay for really! Nice large space, could do with a bit more attention to kit maintenance and attachments. Lots of missing carabiners rendering cables useless. Having to punch in your long code to use the changing rooms/toilets is a bit of an inconvenience considering you don’t need to do that to get in the gym.

The gym is nice, but very busy and not enough cages for powerlifting. Also the lockers and toilets are locked away between 1am and 3am every night which makes no sense to me as nobody is cleaning them all this time. Some equipment is out of use for a while, even the body composition machine, my partner pay extra each month to access it.

This used to be my favourite gym I was one of their first members when it was a silver rated gym (gold today). Unfortunately ever since the pandemic I can no longer attend. Understandably you can’t control people and the policy is gone to wear a mask in Wales but I suffer from Long Covid and can’t afford to be bed bound internally suffocating from a lack of oxygen due to micro clots all because some guy carelessly or not doesn’t care about the virus. I can no longer attend the gym simply because I don’t feel safe such a shame as well.

I would however continue to attend if you they created time slots where those who had verifiable proof of being disabled or vulnerable to viruses could be granted access to the gym at times other people cannot. For example only disabled or vulnerable people are allowed from 22:00-01:00 once or twice a week or something like that. I can’t see many healthy non disabled people complaining as they have the health & time to go generally anytime they’re available.

Really lovely clean gym, other people are quite friendly. Quite busy since new year but it's easy to find quieter periods throughout the day. There's plenty of equipment and machines available and classes but I've never tried a class. The changing rooms are always clean. I've really started enjoying going to the gym since I joined here, I never really went to the gym regularly before. Its good value for money too.
