Metro Wardrobes - Fitted Wardrobes and Bedrooms Manufacturer & Supplier

First time customer with Metro Wardrobes, and I have to say the customer service is brilliant. The lady whom I was dealing with, Palak, put me first as the customer, was patient, informative, detailed, replied back to all queries in a timely manner. Very quick turnover as other wardrobes companies had let us down. Prices are competitive, and they offer a 10-year guarantee.

Once the wardrobes were installed me and my wife then decided we wanted an additional fitted shelving unit which was not agreed upon in the first quotation. As now we were an existing customer, the price was negotiated to a fair amount. Which was installed soon after the main installation. We were very impressed.

On the day of installation, the fitters had arrived in a long wheeled based Metro Van and 3 staff, Kinjal and his 2 installers had arrived. I was present during the installation, several times during the day I had a look to check the progress. Metro sent someone beforehand to pre-measure which enabled the installation to be erected in such an impressive speed. My ceiling and wall were not straight, however during the installation, they cut the wood to the exact measurement to fit perfectly. Couldn't even tell.

I would highly recommend Metro, high quality wood was used with a mix of Chip Board and MDF, sliding doors are soft close, draw sliders are high quality soft close, design had a pocket door which now vanishes behind the wardrobes. See pictures.

Take your time and negotiate, it's definitely worth it.

I came to metro wardrobes with a specific idea as I wanted to make the most of the small space in my new flat. Palak was really responsive to what I wanted and advised on usability etc and I'm really glad I took her advice as the wardrobe looks amazing like it was always meant to be there. The team who came to measure install etc were super lovely and efficient, the whole thing was put up in less than a day. Great service and product with reasonable price, definitely 100% recommend over the "big" brands. Thank you!

Metro Wardrobes are FANTASTIC!!!! Not only were they the best quote including all of the big names, they were the only supplier that could fully create our design exactly as per the specs and size we wanted.

We had a long term renovation project and despite fully changing the design over a year later, their designers Ranto and Martina were fantastic!!! Swift, speedy, accurate, listened really well and incredibly detailed.

The company fitter then did a BRILLIANT job. Clean, tidy, efficient and such pride in their work. They had no issues with fitting our own bespoke handles either at no extra charge. Our property is very old and we have very uneven walls and floors and still they made the wardrobes fit to perfection and straight. The fitters were kind, polite and expertly did their job.

Would have these guys back in a heart beat!

The job was done over 2 days and at the end of day 1, the fitters left bedroom tidy. Also from end to end, it took 5 weeks to arrive. Normally only 3 weeks however there was a small delay with our doors and so 5 weeks from the point we paid the deposit. Which is still better than the market leaders. The choice for internal and external colours is amazing, all at no extra cost. The quality is excellent as each unit has been made very sturdy, a casket of its own and then separate string blue doors, sides etc added. Far better then other suppliers, who again, use a single piece of mdf. Which will later compromise the strength of the wardrobe. Also includes a 10 year warranty that can be transferred to any buyer of our property, should we sell.

Just amazing! Excellent service from start to finish, top-class materials and much cheaper than others. I was just about to place my order with Sharp Wadrobes but the designer was driving and couldn't take deposit on that time and I decided to do my last online search...lucky me! £700 cheaper, 4 weeks quicker and plenty more options added than original project plus very professional Installation without a bit of dust!

When I got a quote and the time frame from metro wardrobes, I thought it was too good to be true. Not only was the price the most competitive between sharps and sliderobes, they could install 12 weeks earlier than these other competitors. The design team were very helpful and accessible during the whole process. I was convinced what was promised would not be delivered upon. However I am very impressed with the final result. Although there were some minor hiccups and installation took place over 5 days instead of 2-3, it was done professionally and to a high standard. Would highly recommend metro wardrobes.

The designing process was seamless. Palak and Nassy were great help in the process of designing and ordering. Wardrobes were delivered and fitted within 2 weeks. The craftsmanship is excellent, accompanied with thorough fitting and cleaning after completion.

Zero star - they only cared for charging me!

I have had a very bad experience using this company, and I wish I had gone with the other company that I considered. The work is still incomplete, 2.5 months down the line! It is completely unacceptable, I paid a good amount of money for a fitted (bespoke) wardrobe.

While it all started well, the service turned rubbish as soon as I had paid the deposit (50%). The works started later than scheduled and took longer to complete. The company was VERY quick to charge me, for instance, as soon as the work completed on the last day, they called and rudely demanded the rest of the money (15%), I was not even given five minutes to inspect the work. I had paid everything on time, so I paid the last 15% when asked - this was a bit naïve of me, because it removed the urgency and incentives for the company to fix their errors and mistakes with the build.

It was supposed to be BESPOKE wardrobe, yet they did not follow the specific measurements I asked them to do for one of the units (I have therefore ended up with asymmetrical shelves), and the door opens in the wrong direction (which is very inconvenient as the unit is next to the wall).

The quality is not great, one door was just sloppy work that looked of very poor quality. I informed my designer of the issues - I chased constantly, some 2.5 months later, they show up with a new door, which proved to be incorrectly cut! So, the fitters took the existing door and now I am left with an incomplete/door-less wardrobe. They are constantly making excuses and blame the errors on the company that make that specific door, however, it is just nonsense, no company would take some 2 months to sort out a mistake! Absolute farce!

I deeply regret using this company, I felt that they ONLY cared about charging me, but they had ZERO interest in fix errors and problems with the wardrobe they installed.

Best fitted wardrobe company in U.K. From start to finish the service provided was exceptional. This company provides first class fitted furniture and service.

I booked a consultation with Ranto. He was very clear, honest, well-mannered and professional and provided creative ideas and suggestions of wardrobes to be fitted. A very reasonable quote was provided within 2 days which included impressive, well thought-out 3D designs and a clear breakdown of costs from the discussion had at the free site survey. Requests for amendments were responded to promptly that included updated 3D designs. In fact I consistently received prompt responses to queries during all communications with Metro wardrobes.

Unlike other companies I previously received quotes from via Check a trade and larger national companies, Ranto provided excellent suggestions, design ideas on wardrobe layout whilst keeping to a symmetrical layout and maximising space at a competitive price. The finish of the wardrobes fitted are of the highest quality. The showroom contained a vast range of colours/finishes of wardrobes and samples to choose from and all staff provide great support on choosing the right colour for the rooms, as well styles of handles.

Wardrobe installers Sagar and Prabal completed the fitting of the wardrobes, mirrors and fixtures professionally, in just 3 days and cleaned up perfectly- this all added to their high quality standard of work.

Ranto was very patient, accommodating and flexible with the minor amendments and managed these changes exceptionally well. As a customer, it is very reassuring that the quality of materials used, such as the hinges, lights, railings, led lights etc are all of a high standard and solid structure and are from signatures brands.

This company has a very skilled group of staff who create incredible designs and execute these designs to perfection. I can confidently and highly recommend Metro wardrobes to anyone looking for kitchen/wardrobes to be fitted and I will definitely be contacting them again for future renovations.
