Flying Pig Helicopters

Had the first experience of trial flying lessons with Flying Pig Helicopters. Really pleased and impressed about a unique experience. The team is lovely.

I loved Flying Pigs so much I wanted to work with them.

I first visited the school in 2021 after having met Paul White on his FORTNIGHTLY FREE ONLINE GROUND SCHOOL.

I was immediately welcomed with open arms into a school which is as comfortable as it it professional.

The training is to a very high standard, and the chief flying instructor is meticulous about the quality of tuition.

Not to mention that with the atmosphere there after a few visits, quickened by yourself supplying cake, sandwiches or various treats you will feel like you are part of the furniture there and will never want to leave!

Come for the helicopters, stay for the family!

I would highly recommend them. The staff is very friendly and captain Paul is a very skilled pilot. Its very easy to book with them to take the family on a helicopter ride around London or flying lessons.

No praise would be enough for this experience! Trust me everyone that can should do this at least once. This was a Virgin experience where you get to fly a helicopter Birthday Present from my wife. Very good friendly down to earth staff. Excellent briefing. Then there's the actual flight. OMG! The pilot/instructor was brilliant. Clear concise and friendly. The R22 I flew in gave so much feedback through the controls it was just incredible! Really loved everything about it and would like to thank the team for the experience! Great school, thank you guys! All of the instructors are top notch, Paul, James and Adam. R22 I flew was like new and never skipped a beat. Food at the restaurant is very good, the chicken club was the best I have ever had. Nothing but good things to say, I will be back in October😎

Quiz night was a fun experience, even though it was my first time meeting everyone, was made to feel right at home.

I chose Elstree Helicopters to gain my Private Pilots' License after having done a lot of research. I would highly recommend them as a training organisation, due to their efficiency, standards of training and care of attention to detail. Paul and his team have a wealth of experience and being around the club, there's a lovely atmosphere. I couldn't have been happier putting my trust in Elstree Helicopters and Paul to train me to fly helicopters and look forward to always returning to keep learning.
