Sherburn Aero Club

As a Pilot I've been there for 3 years now and I've met the most friendliest staff and instructors. I could never go anywhere else the club has a place in my heart cause it made my childhood dreams come true.

Always a place I enjoy going to. Sitting in the garden area watching the planes take off and land is so relaxing, especially on a warm day. The food is great and priced very fairly, the staff are lovely and always happy to help or answer questions

We attended as part of a large group. Lovely place, clean and lots of seating inside and out. Ample free parking. I had full English breakfast (£9.50). Not massive portions, but acceptable. I asked if I could swap the grilled tomato for something else and the answer was "no", so a little inflexible. I sat outside and watched the planes on the air field while I ate. Overall a pleasant experience.

I Can't recommend this highly enough if you only do 1 more exciting thing in your life make sure it's this. Special Thank you to Neil my pilot and Thank you to all the ground crew for making my experience so special, and the food in the on site cafe/bar is lovely and very reasonably priced

Absolutely brilliant, we went today as part of an event put on by the Candlelighters Charity of Leeds. A cars and wings day. SuperCars and Aeroplanes.... everyone was really friendly and our Pilot, a chap called Adam was brilliant from the point we were introduced to him dropping us off at the safety line, he was amazing and gave us the 5 star treatment, very friendly and no silence in the plane , then the SuperCars WOW... I've never been so fast in a car, and being given the opportunity was brilliant. All these people gave you their time and fuel for this wonderful cause..... bless you all.
Finally to the staff at Candlelighters, you are simply wonderful people. The weather sort of stayed kind, but the event that you organised was fantastic, we had a brilliant time. Love you all, the smiles on our boys faces was just amazing 👏 💙 💜 ❤ 💕

Popped in to the cafe while out on a bike ride, really nice cafe and the food was fantastic. Nice to sit and watch the coming and goings at the airfield over breakfast! Has a lovely outside viewing area too with benches and a small kids playground.

Fantastic place to visit bar food and watch small planes helicopters and tiger moth flying and just down the road another cafe with vintage cars and rallys people bringing the old cars along for people to view.

Brilliant service, food , atmosphere and great value... Plus you can sit very close to all of the airfield activity while you enjoy the food and drink. Dogs allowed in outdoor areas. Highly recommended!
