From start to finish we have had nothing but an exceptional service from Peter, Kimberley, Anita & Darren.
Not only have they delivered a superb service but the quality of their work is second to none.
We bought a new house so required flooring throughout along with the garage flooring & blinds too. They walked us through all our options and fitted everything in very tight timescales (4.5 days)
Every communication has been friendly and polite and Peter was even on site supervising after surgery!
We have already recommended them to our neighbours and will continue to advocate their brand. Superb and worth every star

Further to my factually accurate and honest comments below, when discovering me in my new workplace the lady owner of this business decided it was OK to ridicule and try to belittle and insult me.
Didn’t expect them to be happy, but this is the measure of the lady.
Be careful, be very careful before you choose to do business with this lady. If I could I would move my score to zero.

A total shambles!
From the first day we went to the showroom ( simply because they are the Amtico Exclusive Retail Partner nearest to us), waited patiently whilst another customer was attended to and then ignored as a later customer (already with an order in progress it would seem and came in to pay a deposit) was allowed to jump the queue and the staff didn't have the guts or sense to ask them to wait until we had been seen.
We only ordered three items, 2 types of Amtico hard flooring and some carpet, but the order was a five figure amount.
With that in mind it is astonishing that the orders for both types of Amtico floor were both recorded incorrectly, one where the wrong material was ordered and one where the style of laying the floor was incorrectly recorded – 100% failure of administration!
The arrangement was for the job to start on 9th May and finish in 9 to 10 days. They finally left on June 8th.
We had not been given any kid of schedule of work so had the entire ground floor of our home ready for the Amtico to be laid from 9th May. Decorators and other trades were working hard to ensure the area where carpet was to be laid would be ready the following day.
They turned up on the 9th to tell us the wrong material had been ordered for half the Amtico and it would take another 10 days before it would be available.
They also felt they were being very kind in agreeing to stick with the quote even though they had quoted on the wrong layout for the other half of the flooring that was available, and we would not be charged for the extra work they would have to do to fulfil the order we had placed!
Even though the re ordered flooring apparently arrived 10 days later, they left on holiday telling their staff to work elsewhere and making us wait another 2 weeks before coming to complete our work.
Even during the 5-6 days they should have been on site to complete the first half of the work inc. the carpeting, owners and staff were constantly arriving half way through the day or leaving early to carry on with other jobs where customers were allegedly messing them about.
We were made to feel very much like second class customers, there was always something or somebody who's job seemed more important than ours.
An e mail to them complaining about the service we had received led to water works on the phone, an apology and the offer of a derisory 'discount' of barely 2.5%, and that being conditional on us paying within 10 days of receipt of the offer.
We have already had them back once to sort out lifting and creasing carpets, we hope not to have to ask them back to sort out any other problems.
The Amtico floor looks very good, but we would never recommend using this “Exclusive Retailer”. The level of time management, administration, organisation and customer service is something we hope we never have to put up with again.
The final straw of a pittance of a discount offered for the disruption and stress their ineptitude caused was exacerbated by that being coupled with the threat of the discount being withdrawn if we did not pay quickly – tantamount to blackmail.
If you feel impelled to use these people ensure you check everything they tell you, get it in writing and check it is what you said, not what they thought they heard, and don’t let their total lack of organisation mess you up they way it did us.

Just had carpets fitted, all excellent service start to finish. Would recommend to anyone.

First visit very positive. Sincerely hope that we will be able to sort out our flooring needs with this company

I recently used Peter Allen to re -carpet my hall and staircase. They have an excellent choice of good quality carpets. The carpet we chose was a stripe and what I hadn't appreciated was the complexity involved with laying it ,as there were different floors including a mezzanine. Jonah and Steven (our expert fitters) worked it all out and did the most fantastic job. You can see the results on Peter Allen's FB page. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are friendly and so professional and consulted us at each stage of the fit. We will definitely use them again.

After having our new kitchen fitted we got "Peter Allen Floor Covering" to supply and fit the new floor tiles... They arrived on the Thursday and screeded the floor returning the following morning, they came and put the Amtico Tiles down.

Fantastic job finishing the kitchen off perfectly. I cannot praise the 2 lads who did the work enough, very very professional and a superb job done.

Quality of the work performed by the fitters was excellent, however, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Granted these are difficult times for all so the 3 month plus delay from ordering to fitting was acceptable. What was less acceptable was the complete lack of communication from PA keeping us updated as to progress with the order. To compound this, fitting was arranged over a 2 day period to allow furnishings to be moved around. On the first day, the fitters had been instructed to allow 1 day only, again, without having the courtesy to discuss with us first. It took a heated call to revert to the original plan. Will not use again.
