Extremely disappointed with our carpet and Tapi's can't be bothered attitude. We got our carpet for the 2 bedrooms January 2021, we didn't cheap out and went for mid range carpet and underlay. We were told by someone who worked there that the carpet we chose would give us at least 7 years good use out of it. We chose the nice grey '2' tone carpet that goes darker and lighter as you hover it. As a few months went on we noticed that this 2 tone affect was getting duller and duller and quite flat. By September I wrote to Tapi and explained that this has happened to our bedroom carpet and in a strange line in my sons bedroom carpet. They sent someone out to look at it but because he got the wrong address and couldn't find my flat he was already in a mood. He took photos, asked me what hover we use and that I should do it daily to keep the carpet up etc, to which I told him I DO and it's still flat and dull. Couldn't tell me why only a line of this had appeared on my sons carpet and told me it was traffic... He told me they'd be in touch, 2 weeks pass and still nothing so I contacted the shop to which they replied it's down to traffic and that's it. After 9 months this carpet was dull, flat and looks pretty horrid. With a new baby and loots of other stressful building works happening in the house I didn't chase it up further but I wish I went into the shop rather than chasing emails. Nearly another 9 months on now to the present I absolutely hate looking at my bedroom floor and considering ripping it all up, It makes me angry and upset looking at it each time I hover. It's not worth the money, definitely DIDN'T last 7 years, and I think we were advised wrong. Not to mention we wasn't told we had to pay the carpet fitters- Cash as well which I didn't have in the house. We measured and paid for every single inch of the bedroom to be fitted including the wardrobe and he left this out and left me with a huge roll and said I could even fit that if I wanted it in there... £700 for a small bedroom and master bedroom down the drain and no compensation in the slightest to rectify it. I'd carefully consider using this company and I suggest you take advice from other suppliers as well as we put our trust into Tapi Farnborough to be left upset.

Rude and arrogant, popped in today, 15th September. Needing help as I wish to replace carpets to our 3 bed town house. Some 85m for upstairs.I asked for help and got rude arrogant answers to one point I said that’s why I’m here, I need your help. This continued as all I had from moving in is that the old carpet is 32oz oaklands. Told me to go home, cut a piece of the carpet and come back. Obviously I will not. Didn’t get his name, wish I did. So went over the road, much more helpful at carpet right, picked my carpet, paid £4752 and there coming over Thursday next week to check my measurements and fit first week in Oct
Now that’s service!! Will Tapi care, probably not.

Visited Farnborough store on Tuesday 1st November 2022 at approx 7:15pm. If I could give 0 stars I would! Upon entering the store we observed 2 members of staff (one bald headed guy and another with dark hair and a beard). One was walking around the shop whilst the other was sat at his desk. Neither could be bothered to say hello or acknowledge us, and not once did they bother to ask if we needed any help, despite being in the store for 20 mins!! We were the only people in the store and they were open for at least another 45 minutes so it wasn't as though we had walked in 5 minutes before closing! We decided to leave and not waste our time asking about fitting costs or timeframes due to the distinct lack of any customer service!! Don't waste your time with this store; better off going to Aldershot Carpet Service who are absolutely brilliant and can't do enough to help you make the right choice! Thank you Tapi Carpets & Floors for reconfirming my belief that local independent companies simply can't be beaten!

Staff didn't appear very helpful. As for quote but felt rushed, asked for someone to measure they would only do this once we had committed.

Would recommend steering well clear.
First guy didn't arrive with enough screed, he said when they came to fit they'd bring something which would level the floor and dry quickly...they failed to bring enough of that.
Needless to say that our floor started to squeak mere days later. They came back to fit plastic inserts which were pointless as it continued to squeak.
After months of back of forth, they finally came to pull up the floor, relevel and refit.
However the floor still squeaks and as you can see the scotia trim was not fitted properly.
Not quite what I'd expect to be happening with professionally fitted flooring which is 9 months old.
Don't waste your time.

Start with very helpful on the initial sale but I had to carpet fitters and both couldn't be bothered to move the furniture considering I am disabled. They didn't even tell me that they were going to charge me £80 for fitting and I have to pay to the fitters. So I rang them and told them to deliver my carpet and I will do it myself I had to wait nearly a week considering.

This is a review of Tapi, Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is an exceptional company, providing a very high level of customer service. When I had a problem with the fitting, they went to great efforts to resolve it and put it all right; no hassle, no problem. Carpets are very good too - I'm coming back!

First time customer and finding that the staff didn't pester just left you to view the carpet selections but when you got down to the nitty gritty the staff new their stuff and didn't fall for my patter when trying for a Christmas fitting, No chance, yes, First class Product..Staff and Showroom.
I bought and now waiting for the January !!!!!! Fitting.
