I am very disappointed & regret using this retailer while I had a better quote from another shop. It was wrong from the beginning. First time we went there to choose a carpet ,a gentleman gave us a quote. The second time we went there to order, we actually chose a slightly cheaper carpet but another guy gave us a quote that was £80 more expensive than the first one!!!!! When we showed him the first quote he made excuses before matching the first qoute. We had taken our exact room measurements & left it there trusting he knew what he is doing. He didn't give us a receipt instead he said he will email it. When we received the email we didn't double-check the measurements. When the fitter came to fit the carpets, one carpet was short!!! We checked the measurements & we realised he had rounded down our measurement instead of rounding it up!!!! Unfortunately we had left our piece of paper in the shop so we didn't have any proof. The fitter had to patch it up & the end result is totally unsatisfactory. I will never use them again & won't recommend them to anyone.

Really pleased with the whole experience.
We went into Tapi about a month ago to chose a carpet for stairs and landing. In the shop, we were given good advice on which to select and we bought the carpet.
Two days later, Tapi came round to measure. They did a really thorough job and it took about an hour.
Two weeks later, we got a call from Tapi, to say the carpet was ready and to book a fitting, which we did for 10 days later.
The fitters came round, installed the carpet in a couple of hours and did a great job.
Tapi made the whole experience really simple.

I enjoyed touching all the carpets to choose which one my dog will wee on next.

Update - I was hopeful following my review that something may be done to resolve the issue when Tapi reached out to me. They sent someone out to inspect our floors, they have offered to replace the damaged vinyl, but have stated that it is expected for their luxury carpets to go flat and look like this after 3 months! Definitely wasted my money here, do not use Tapi carpets.

We had bought a new house and needed flooring everywhere. We were given an estimate by the store that we were happy with. When they came out to do the measurements the price worked out 25% higher, although they were able to get the price back down. When it came to fitting the vinyl floors it took several attempts - on the first visit they had been provided with the wrong flooring for one room and damaged the flooring for another, on the second visit the flooring was fault and on the 3rd visit a different type was fitted however the floor wasn’t checked/cleared before hand and we now have nail sticking straight up through it. The carpets have only been down for 3 months and look so worn and ruined already - definitely feel like we’ve wasted thousands of pounds

Great Products, Great Service, Problems Promptly Addressed - We are Delighted!

We had our entire apartment fitted with new carpet and LVT. Very efficient measuring service. We got our quote on the spot from Matt and it was much cheaper than at a rival firm whose confusing quote we waiting for two weeks for. Communication was good throughout. There were issues with the job because of the carpet fitter but it was sorted. Very pleased with the LVT fitter whose work was perfection. Problems can arise with the outsourcing of fitting but Tapi do their best to rectify these. You get a sense of the company you're dealing with when things go wrong and that's why I've given this firm a 5 star review because they instantly take responsibility and get it sorted. We are thrilled with the final result.

We had an overall good customer experience. Particularly impressed with how extremely dedicated the store manager was in keeping us happy after we faced some minor issues with the carpet delivery due to supplier issues.

Harrison at Tunbridge Wells was incredibly professional and polite when coming to measure up and quote for our carpets. Nothing was too much for him and he took his time explaining everything to us. Great communication from Tapi between our first call and ordering carpets. Hope the fitting goes just as smoothly!

The carpet was lovely. But an ornament was broken by one of the fitters. Nothing was said. When I questioned it, both fitters denied breaking it.
Unfortunately I will not be buying any more carpets from tapi because of the fitters.
