Tapi Carpets & Floors

What a disappointment. I came to Tapi because of the customer service and value for money that I perceived it had, but I was wrong. I was told that it will take between 7 - 10 days for the carpets to arrive at the warehouse, it took over two weeks, no email notification and I had to chase them up to get a date booked for installation. Then when the carpet finally arrived, it was the wrong size!

Instead of offering to deduct the fitting charge from the beginning - which would be the very least - they started by offering much less money off - this was very irritating given the situation and the fact that I told them that I needed the carpet quite quickly and that now I've been heavily delayed (I've had to put on hold furniture delivery because of this).

I had to take the matter up with the district manager who explained that at the end of the day he's "running a business" and that he's not going to allow me to "manipulate" the situation by asking for more money! Unbelievable! I found his approach very unprofessional and disappointing. I asked for a refund.

Although I was in a hurry, I'd rather wait longer than spend my money there. I'll never be returning.

The store is nice, staff are helpful... until you place an order and all that helpfulness goes out of the window.. for a few reasons

You can't order it all at once, so that's two different orders, they say they take American Express but the site doesn't work.. they don't know when the order is coming, it says two day but that's only to raise the PO...

Bit or a mess and not customer friendly. However the flooring option are great.

We visited the store today and although we didn’t purchase anything the service we received from Mike at the St Albans store was excellent.
He gave us all the information we needed to make an informed choice when we do make a purchase. I’m sure we’ll be back in the near future. Thanks!

Friendly staff but hugely overpriced. 8MM thickness laminate being sold at approximately twice the going rate whilst “on sale”. Fitting fees on par with industry

Decent range of stock and a good price.
Ordered flooring for the bathroom and it arrived earlier than expected.

Good selection of quality carpets & vinyl flooring etc. Competitive prices whatever your budget. Helpful & courteous staff.

The guys are late and when you call the shop to know why and where they are, the receptionist says that you - the client - that you are mistaken and that he doesn't care about the time slot the seller gave you. Thank you guys! You're doing a great job! Plus, the receptionist yelled at me. One star just because it's the minimum you can give.
